Yeah, these were all made on a Steam version of the game.
You have to drop the files in C:\Users\*PCname*\Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Profiles\C******
Basically, click on Documents, then Rockstar Games, then Red Dead Redemption 2, then Profiles, then the folder that starts with a C. That's where the save files are kept.
The folder with your save file will be in the Profiles folder and it should start with a C followed by several numbers and letters. If you have any save files in there that you want to keep, back them up. Then unzip the file that you downloaded and drop the individual files into that folder and enjoy!
Awesome save, I really wanted to try my survival mods and a bunch of side missions just to make it seem like another chapter of the game. But I'm too lazy to finish this game for the 4th time lol. This is a save I'll be coming back to years to come.
That's intentional. With this and many of my other saves, I specifically wanted to leave everything but the storyline untouched so that you can just start at a whatever point in the storyline that you want and still have the rest of the game to play yourself. But FYI, in the epilogue you just have to go to a pawn shop to buy the satchels.
This is exactly what I was looking for. When I was finishing the game on the PS4 I got so fed up with the missions I just sped through it without closing up all of Arthur's loose ends and I don't think I can stomach playing through it all again in the pc version. I'm only at 38% and I got it when it was released on pc...
Thanks AnimeFreedom1776! Good on you. Trolls will be trolls, Murfrees will be Murfrees, I guess. I never expected my series of mods (saves) to be popular, just to fill a niche. Specifically, for folk like me who enjoy all the open world adventuring of the game more than anything. So by getting the story missions out of the way, folk can just focus on everything else, I reckon.

I think you missed a place. Satchel appear to be upgraded, and the animals required for evolution appear to be undiscovered.
