have you thought about a mod that gives the player the same amount of health/resistance as NPCs? like enemies can get shot twice or thrice and die, while the player can stand in the middle of a gunfight and just chill.
idk if this helps but i use pdo only the asi files and rededrunk combat mod, this makes me die in around 2-3 shotgun shots from full hp core or 6-7 shots from anything else
Had a taste of what the NPCs go through when an angry passerby blasted me point blank with his shotgun for running him over, killing me in one shot. He warned me beforehand and was aiming at me for a long time, so it was pretty fair. PDO, Critical Hits and Rededrunk Combat is a fun combo.
Too bad if you use Kiddo's economy mod, which drastically reduces the tonics on the NPCs, they run away after a fight and if you have set like me that they can only use tonics in the cover, and then you insult them, they always say the same line. Very sad, maybe you can make a merge somehow, otherwise top mod if you use it vanilla.
Does this mod work with something like Ped Accuracy Overhaul? They're both script mods so would the values of this mod override the content of the other mod?
its hard to feel the buff as the player since they can get killed easily, i suggest maybe making them resist 1 or 2 more shots and to make it feel effective and realistic at the same time
