In games that have a quick save option, pressing the hotkey (usually F5) actually forces the game to autosave (in this case the autosave and the quick save are actually the same exact file). In RDR2 you have no control whatsoever over the autosave process, so adding something like that would require some really hardcore low-level modding. As for the manual saves, making a quick manual save with a hotkey also seems impossible, since you have to tell the game whether you want to create a new save slot or overwrite some of the existing manual saves (and in that case to choose which one you want to overwrite), and also the game asks you for confirmations at every step... The only way I know to force the game to autosave (which works even during a mission when manual saves are disabled) is to run benchmark test. In that case the game creates a new restore point, then you can exit the test right after it starts and return to the game, and if you were in the middle of a mission, the game makes you abandon it (you can start it again whenever you want).
