Ok you're the 2nd or 3rd person who asked for a "realistic" randomizer. Honestly I have no idea myself how to categorize guns and ammo with realism, this is kind of a fun mod rather than being realistic, but I get your point. Sorry maybe I won't make it :(

Yeah I'm working on randomized weapon attachments for NPCs, gonna take some time to create since there are a lot of attachments to check for each weapon.
It's possible but only I have the source code. I just need to remove all the weapons from my weaponsList except "WEAPON_BOW". But I'm not sure if I can give the code, I'll think about it.
Does it work with weapon mods? How do firearms overhaul? Would it be possible to launch a version so that the NPCs have customized weapons (not mods, but as if they had bought the weapon at the gunsmith like Arthur)
1)Does Firearms Overhaul replace any current weapons? If it uses default game guns, then it should work. Although online weapons like Navy Revolver, Elephant Rifle and Improved Bow won't work. I already tried it with NPCs :/
For addon guns nope it can't, for replace guns it "may" work but you have to test it yourself.
2)You mean perfect (not worn) weapons with weapon attachments? Hmm it should be possible. I kept the weapons worn so that not everyone playing the games gets up all perfect weapons at the start. But I'll think about it.
Yes, the NPCs' weapons are all the same standard, they don't have different colors, different handles, it's all the same thing, only Arthur and the gang have different weapons.
About Firearms Overhaul the weapons are all vanilla, however there are some dlc weapons, but I'm not surprised that these don't work, it was to be expected. However this mod changes some ammunition
Ok I'm working on an update which will modify the weapon attachments (if possible) for NPC weapons, gimme sometime since there's a lot of attachments to go across each weapon ;-;
As for Firearms overhaul, I'm not sure if the mod has an entirely new category of ammo, or like it replaces some of the existing types. If it replaces existing ammo types it might work, but if the ammo is separate I don't think it can, sorry.

Put ONLY "RandomizedGunAmmo_BowOnly.asi" and "Randomizer_Config.ini" in your game folder. Start the game, press F2 to enable the mod.
Uhhh long name I know, but plz ignore that. And only use this asi, not the other ones in my zip file. Delete the old asi if you still have it.
