Thanks for heads-up. The seems to be an issue when the game has graphics device 1 selected instead of 0. I'll look into this and provide a fix shortly.
I have implement a fixed that will allow you to use the UI without the game crashing on start-up. Please could you try the latest version and let me know. (You will have clear any of the artefacts left from the previous version: the .json configuration).
dont trust this download i downloaded his file it has trojan virus on it the download i reported user i am just trying to save other from downloading this <3
Apologies for the scare. This is a false positive. You can find the source code here: https://github.com/helgot/CustomMouseSensitivity/tree/graphics_hook
not working for me, i put scripthook and dinput8.dll and set my sens to raw input and to 0 values. and nothing, in the debug mode it says everything is set correctly but its not working at all
Thanks for the mod, it works great! Any chance you could make vertical and horizontal sensitivity the same in first person? It seems like vertical sensitivity is much slower than horizontal in first-person mode.
Glad to hear that it still works. I can look into that also. It has been 6 months since I first release the mod, so I would have expected an update to shift around addresses and break things.
I did not undetstood, what does the FOVIndependentRotation setting (I'm not a native english speaker, so please explain with simple words) Thanks to all the community helpers, and I send my sincere thanks to the creator for this magnificent mod.
This named poorly. The default behavior of the game is to apply a scaling value when the FOV changes in the first-person mode. I.E., when the camera zooms (which reduces the FOV) when aiming a weapon in first-person. This setting is meant to negate that so that the number of degrees your character rotates is the same (for a given amount of mouse movement), regardless of whether you are aimed-in or not.

The sensitivity can be changed manually by editing the json file.

Any chance you could make it compatible with RedM? That would be awesome.
Because to me it feels like aiming sensitivity is a bit HIGHER than default - normal look around (with weapons holstered) sensitivity.
