New to modding, is there a way to make it have black bars only for cinematic mode? I like the black bars to the mode since it feels like a movie scene.
Im not able to get my game to open with this is in my directory... No problem with rampage trainer but any version of this .asi in the folder and my game just doesn't open :/
Well, it does fix 21:9 game screen that Dynamic Seasons screws up by forcing entire game it into 16:9 But cinematics looks rather bad. It affects only pre-rendered cinematics fmv's. Normal in game rendered scenes work fine.
RDR2 display mods 3.5.exe does it better, no issues with cinematics, but it has to be run after the game and activated via keybind
for some reason i added this mod because of dynamic season i add both no black bar all or side i didnt add them together but i added them my problem was when i lunch the game i instantly get error saying retry safe mod or ok and when i take those mod out game boot up fine is there way to fix this
Wanted to first thank WesternAndCo for this mod, it has made it possible to get a real RDR2 ultrawide experience on Linux, as it doesn't require an additional background application running!
- Extract the required ScriptHookRDR2 V2's dinput.dll into your game directory (Steam > Select game > Manage > Browse Local Files) - Extract RDR2NoBlackBars.asi into same game directory as scripthook. - Add the following command into launch options : WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8=n,b" %command%
So simple, 21:9 goodness in cutscenes without the horrid zoom out!
Generally not one to comment but this mod is incredible and fixed the major complaint I always had with RDR2 on PC, not having to run any other programs or have hotkeys is a true blessing. Thanks so much!
Make sure you have AB's ScriptHook installed first Script Hook RDR2 - AB Software Development Once you have done that, download this mod, unzip it and copy the .asi file into your game folder, same location as RDR2.exe
