yes it's very easy you open all the ymt/meta files in notepad++ and replace all in opened files the FOV lines to the value you want. Search for these 2 "73"/><!-- "80"/><!-- replace with: "numberyouwant"/><!-- .meta files are for first person aiming fov.
Hi, I changed all the "73"/><!-- to "90"/><!-- inside the table_games_cam.ymt file but I didn't see any difference when I sit down to play poker. Anything else I should do? I also found that the view while in a cart is still too close, how can I change it?
Hello, is there step by step instructions? I have another FOV mod 5282 + lml_rdr_beta_11 folders already downloaded. also have ScripthookV2 & dinput*.dll 4 folders in total. Thanks for any help. : )
Great, thanks for the latest update. I just tested it with the latest version of the game and it's praticly perfect!
I just noticed one small issue:
in fp, with the knife or empty hands, when you look at your feet, the rendering is excellent. However, with a pistol/rifle/shotgun, when you look down, you only see the tip of the foot, and you might notice that when changing weapons, there's a zoom in or out depending on the weapon you select (it's the same when you're on a horse without weapons or with a weapon).
If you could fix that, that would be great; best mod/combination of mods for first-person FOV is here. Thanks again! 👍🏻 👍🏻
I noticed that too, it's only when looking up or down pretty sure. If you look straight ahead and unequip/equip a gun it looks fine. Never found a solution for this though.
delete or edit the .meta files if you want to zoom in first person while aiming. idk why you think auto aim is broken with the bow cause I can aim fine with it.
could it be cause of the scripthook im using ? im using this one https://www.nexusmods.com/reddeadredemption2/mods/1472 and ultimate asi loader but i can take a video wait
yea ik those settings its not that cause it wont even zoom in let alone auto aim i was tinkering with it yesterday all night thinking maybe its a conflict or something i did remove all my mods but im reinstalling again just to make sure should take around 15 min
I told you what to do if you want zoom. delete or edit the .meta files (from this mod) if you want to zoom in first person while aiming This mod doesn't touch that so you have a conflict somewhere if you can't aim with the bow. Red Dead Modding Tool can check for conflicts.
If you deleted the meta files and it still happens it's something in cameras.ymt. You can search for <!-- in the files to find everything this mod changes. My apologies.
i left instructions where you download the file... to change FOV open the files in notepad++ ymt for FOV meta for aiming FOV Find All in Opened Documents: "73"/><!-- Replace 73 with the value you want
Aaah in understand, i need to change all 73 values inside "cameras.ymt" for change the firs person fov? I thought was like the other fov mod, where i use to change just one value inside the cameras.ymt
It does work. You just didn't do it right... Also in the description... You must set your First person FOV max in-game settings for this to work properly. You just open the mod folder, search .ymt select them all and edit with notepad++ and then search for the .meta and edit with notepad++ and edit all the files at once. It takes less than 5 minutes to do this.

Great mod -- thanks for the hard work and keeping up with comments.
to change FOV open the files in notepad++
ymt for FOV
meta for aiming FOV
Find All in Opened Documents:
"73"/><!--
Replace 73 with the value you want
;) btw, good mod
