    The file has now been updated to version 1.0.1 which adds the EquineAssistance.ini file to enable or disable herb blips on map. Blips are turned on by default just like how the feature is in RDO. Also I've tweaked code a small bit which should help improve performance/FPS issues. Please update your EquineAssistance.asi with the newest version and copy/paste EquineAssistance.ini into your game's root directory as well.

      This is a good mod,I think this is the greatest mod.!and I'm looking forward to a translation too.
      hope there is a Chinese version.

    man still can't believe this feature is in single player now, great update as well with the option to disable the map blip!

    if you're still accepting suggestions on RDO features that can be possibly implemented in sp that is not tried out by modders, maybe the Bird egg collecting and trader supply feature with Pearson (possibly difficult but hey just throwing out ideas here since mod author is obviously talented at scripting)

    Only thing I miss from online is daily missions, but I assume you don't take requests- seems like a tricky task :o

    Unfortunately this mod is not compatible with Herbalist Mod and it does not use native Language files, which breaks some immersion on the names of the plants and the buttontext. It also doesn't differentiate when there are multiple versions of a plant available for example Berrys:
    There is Black Currant and Golden Currant, I wondered because my inventory is full and I can still pick it up, on other plants it says that it's full and I can't pick up anymore.
    The same applies for Sage, where there are three different types and two different for crafting (oleander sage and normal sage).
    Also there is a visual bug, when picking up Raspberrys or any other one with a big bush the bush disappears completely (but that's not a big deal for me).

    I can't really enjoy that mod, though I really wanted someone to create it, the bugs mentioned are too annoying. If it's possible to make it work with language and the herbalist mod, that would be an awesome improvement and therefore one of the best QoL Mods for this game.

    PS: Having the option to enable/disable the blips on the map would also be great.

      Replying for visibility.  Some herbs with variants like currant/sage (maybe others) are registered incorrectly when gathered while mounted. 
      Additionally, the Ram Horn Trinket does not function while mounted.  Not sure if it can be fixed - if not it should be noted.

      Regardless, this is a great mod.  Thank you.

    Is there anyway to remove the plant blips from the minimap? I know it's probably editing the script at source.

    Would be great if we could get a version without it as I feel the plant blips clutter the minimap.

      Yea, I'll update the download section with a version that includes an .ini file that you can toggle the blips on and off. Give me a day.

      I've updated the file with an ini file which allows you to turn herb blips off and on. I've also tweaked the code a bit to try and solve any performance/FPS issues. Let me know if the performance is better with the new updated file.

    Installing this made my framerate drop to unplayable levels when riding a horse. Probably too many horse-related scripts from other mods or something. All your other horse mods work perfectly.

      I've updated the file with code tweaks which should hopefully make the mod perform better. Please try the new file and let me know if you still have the same performance/FPS issues.

      i'm aware of this mod i've used it, what i want is like the online version , a option to cook 3x meat or single ,i don't want to auto craft, red dead online already has this feature like this horse assistance mod likewise i'm asking the mods creator port the 3x craft feature into single player if possible.

    this is amazing!!!!! been wanting a mod like this for ages!!! thank you thank you thank you!!!!

    the only issue is that it doesnt work with an edited loot_table_herb file in lml/replace, is there a way to make it work together so I collect as many herbs on horseback as i would on foot?

    Someone had asked about the missing herb modules. This error is created from some other mod that have faulty s_lev_des.ytyp and maybe VegetationModifiers.meta files

      I had that problem. Had The "Vegetation Tricks" Mod where you can stumble over the Plants. Deleted that and now it works.

      Bushes disappear still.

    Hey, great mod! I just want to report an issue I've found: picking up a Oleander Sage from horseback doesn't work properly as the item picked up will be stored just as "Sage" and not "Oleander Sage". If you jump from your horse and hand pick the herb, it will work fine. If you're not paying attention to that, this issue can make it more difficult to craft items requiring specifically this herb, which is also part of the herbalist challenge #8
