with thit cnfg - 40fps valentine, 45-50 camp, 50 forest, 55-60 in open field. its work, true. ofc i didnt expect magic in my devices, buuuut.. it's balance between mid fps and eyeslove graphic with no extremly low configurations. i think it's one of best result, what i can has. 5/5 tnx
Copy/Paste it in your """ folder... I use it with every game. it'll save you valuable time. It works with EVERY GAME . Remember if you're using reshade to change "dxgi.dll" to "d3d12.dll before the fact. This is AFTER incorporating Reshade.
i used this: https://www.pcgamer.com/red-dead-redemption-2-settings-guide-system-requirements-performance-tweaks-benchmarks-and-more/ as a starting point for my 2nd run. dx12/1080p fullsceen/144hz, preset balance 2 (left -to-right): trees, textures and anisotropic ultra, reflection quality low. everything else high (ambient, paralax, water and shadows:) or medium (ssao, light and volumetrics...and grass). get between 46 - 50 fps average in benchmarks, but in game everything runs smooth. - so far: haven´t been to st. denis, yet. you might ask, why i did not turn down waters and pushed light and TAA. well, i did, and i got worse performance, less depth... no problems with gorgeous looking lake/river/rainy areas. gtx1060 6gb oc / i5 6500 /16gb RAM (2133) on trash mb h110 mr :D
i do run the factory oc profile, though. but here it has less impact than in other titles (RE4) - cpu beeing the culprit :(, also no xmp because of mb...both should give you more options than oc from gpu. did the usual stuff, but if i encounter stutter in st denis i will try out disabling sys main. alternatively you can use the devillish geforce experience, i used their optimization 1st time around and it was pretty okay for this. albeit with vulkan and washed out/flat/blurry everything. i killed it, now with 3-5 fps less, but with quite improved visuals and it feels smoother, weird. this is of course the set up for story - not online. hope that helps someone.
Hola, buenas noches.
The mod works a treat for me. I'm getting better performance than I was when I had configured the settings myself.
I didn't like the creator's water settings so I changed those. I felt the water looked too '2005' for my liking. I might also turn on/up AO because the lighting on the grass and foliage looks off.
All in all, the mod does as it says on the tin. Can't complain. I can only think the haters are noobs or idiots.
Works perfectly - no issues and everything looks better than before. Thank you! Make sure to back up your file before replacing it (to the newbs in the comments).
Mine is working fine And yes, it's raising FPS. Not as high as 60, but yeah, around. If you don't want this, just set the setting back to default. Don't be mean about other's work.
