Hello and looking forward to your update. I love your natural vision, but allow me to make a few comments. First of all, I wanted the weather to be more persistent and the transition to be a little more natural, I had a stiff transition in many areas, such as heavy rain suddenly turning into a sunny day, and on Guama Island, I encountered a black waterfall. Secondly, I've noticed that your mod has too much blue in the vista and in the evening clouds. I don't know if this is something you did on purpose, anyway, appreciate your work!
That's pretty cool ! I'm also interrested in working with weathers and lighting for a personnal project but I can't find any informations about mod tools to edit the templates, can you tell me what you use ?
Basically, all you need is NotePad++ or VSCODE with a mod that loads the settings after changing them: https://www.nexusmods.com/reddeadredemption2/mods/1639 and a lot of time and patience. Trainer will also be useful. You can also use this tool, it should work: https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/weather-timecycle-editor And unfortunately, you have to experiment with the settings yourself - I didn't find detailed documentation, only fragments. If you have any questions, write a DM and I'll try to suggest something with more details.
BTW. Thanks for the NAC for Fallout, I liked it very much :)
Thanks a lot, I've seen the GTA tool before but wasn't sure it would work with RDR too. I'll need to find time but I'd love change a few little things here and there, nothing crazy this game is almost perfect as it is. =) And thanks again for the NAC shootout, you're most welcome.
Hey there! This looks really good. I'm just curious how you figured out how to make custom weathers work? In other weather mods with custom weathers, the transitions for custom weathers break, turning the screen black and requiring you to use a trainer to reset the weather.
in fact, sometimes it happened that the screen went black or even caused the game to hang while loading, but using the "trial and error" method I checked the entries in the files, paths to files and, above all, the name of the new weather must be in the header of the corresponding weather timecycle file. The path used in the wheater.xml file must not be too long - I don't know why, but it didn't work with a long folder name either - so it's hard to come up with a specific solution. You just need to carefully follow the rules, copying some existing weather, changing the appropriate name and taking care of all entries.
It would have been nice to credit the modders by name whom you took some of their mods assets and used them in yours.
And much nicer and better if you asked first for a permission to use them, at least out of some courtesy.
You used my imposter trees fade fix in your mod without any kind of permission or even credit.
It took me months of trial and error to achieve this fix and make it work, and I did not grant anyone to use it in their mod and post it just like that.
Oh yes, indeed - you are right and I am sorry about that. I didn't do it on purpose, I just forgot to comment before publishing and put the correct file - as you probably saw, there is another solution commented there. I worked on my own file, which was to merge various found solutions for my own use and it is not my intention to use anyone else's work. I never do this. I have been creating mods for years and I know how difficult and time-consuming it is to find solutions to problems. And if I happen to use something, I always credit it and ask. So I apologize once again and I will replace the files soon.
Ready enough for publication but intended for frequent updates, it's like "Early Access" to the game. Sometimes mods are published that way. You don't have to download and give comments. You can wait for a better version.
@ibeatit, are you actually serious? The mod is a WORK.IN.PROGRESS! That means you can use it but the mod author plans to do more in future updates. If you still don't get it, then do everyone a massive favor and just move along because if you don't understand this simple concept being explained in these simple tems, you will never get it.
This is really great! It's some of the best clouds i've seen done yet. The lighting is also just amazing, i love how it's not as "flat" as vestigia.
One little criticism:
Raindrops are WAAAY to big in my opinion, the density is fine (maybe a little too dense if im being honest). But the size of the raindrops is by far the biggest eye sore for me.

Other than that i will be following this project, as it really looks phenomenal and i can't wait too see what els your cooking.

I have reported your mod.

and please update your mod and include my fix again in it.
thank you
This means that the mod is not fully ready yet, as I mentioned in the description.

Do you mean "WIP"?
If so, check the mod search field with this code - you will see what appears and how it is used.
and Collyrium is at the top of my personal list - I used it the longest of all :)

I'm still working on the "rainy" weather, we'll see how it turns out.
And the clouds are partly vanilla and will be improved.
