    Hey, can you tell us when the expected official release date for this mod will be? This mod is great I am loving it but can't wait for the official release date and more animals to rustle!

      Thank you for your interest, and I'm glad you enjoy it! The official full release with all livestock (cows, bulls, sheep, goats and oxen), along with three other locations to sell Rustled livestock has been pushed back maybe two weeks or so. It's about 97% done. Just working out some kinks.

      It's meant to be challenging but completely doable with practice and the use of vanilla stimulants in the game. Trust me, once you get the hang of it, you'll probably ask me to make it a bit more challenging. Hope you have fun with it!

    can you add a schedule for the rustler ped so he just doesn't stand there smoking

      Yes, this was just a public BETA test. The final release (most likely under a different uplooad) will be far more immersive with more locations, more animals, etc etc. I just needed feedback and people testing the mechanic.

    Are there cattle only when you do a mission or do they always roam as well?

      You're welcome. I'm not sure if they spawn more or less depending on what chapter you're in but there are quite a few spawn locations for them.

    Thanks for this cool mod, I'm having fun with it! Always nice to see mods that add new things to do in rdr2

    If you're looking for suggestions i got a few:

    1. Is it possible to make the 'Rustling' prompt show up from a bit further away? Right now you need to be almost right in their face before you can initiate it. So maybe having it show up from 1 or 2 meters away while lassoing would be perfect

    2. Only the first time when I rustled a cow to test the mod, did the mission objective appear to bring to cow to Valentine, after that it didn't show up again

    3. Also controlling the speed of the cows didn't appear again after the first time, now the cows just follow me instead of me leading them from behind

    4. I read through some of the other comments, and I do agree with changing the amount each cow/bull gives you. the suggested $25-$30 would be great. Because realistically you would only really find 3 or 4 cows to rustle at a time. and bringing them all the way to Valentine from wherever you where, for less than $50 total is not really worth it.

    5. Adding the option to rustle sheep would be a welcome addition. For them, I do agree that a price of $10 - $15 would be adequate, because you can find a whole lot more of them. 

    6. Some more drop-off locations would be cool, just like the other comments said for MacFarlane's Ranch for Cows/Bulls, Valentine for Sheep, Emerald Ranch, etc. Maybe even the possibility for cows/sheep at the same location

    Those were just my thoughts, even if none of these are possible in an update, i'm still thankful for this mod and all your hard work!

      Glad you enjoy it and thank you for the feedback and suggestions. Most of those will be incorporated in the final version along with bug fixes. This version was mainly a public Beta test to test the mechanism and get feedback which many of you have done. So, I'm thankful to all of you who have.  The final will have 3 locations (Valentine, MacFarlane's Ranch, and Emerald Ranch). You can sell cattle, bulls, sheep, and goats to any of them. I'll probably archive this submission (if I can) and re submit another for the final release.

    this mod that i was looking for for a long time since 2019 thank u so much the cowboy content is what is missing from the game and with ur mod iam so happy after i have tried it ...if u have time for future ubdates for this mod i hope u include the ANIMATIONS WHILE RUSLTING (FROM ARTHUR AND UNCLE RUSTLING COWS MISSION ) + SHEEP RUSTLING + PULLING COWS/LIVESTOCK  same as tamed horses or the anmiation from (JOHN'S MISSION IN EPOLOUGE THAT HE LASSOAD THE BULL) i hope u add this detail into the next rustling mod ubdate

    great mod dude! You did a very good job, congratulations on your creativity and for making the game better.

    only three placements:
    1- when I rufle a cow and it starts to follow me, the AMJM Transport gunman disappears, when I sell the cows he reappears next to me.

    2- The cows follow the player, but normally when you are guiding cows you have to "push" them with the horse. Just as it is on the mission that Arthur and Jhon steal the sheep. (nothing important, only if you could do this it would be more excellent than it already is)

    3 - there could be a .ini to regulate the sales price and mod language.

      Thank you and glad you enjoy it. I'm not sure why the AMJM Transport guy would be dissappearing and reappearing. My mod basically only affects cows, bulls and the Rustler ped in Valentine. So, no idea. The cows should not be following you if you initiated the Rustling after you Rustled the cows you wanted. To initiate the Rustle you must mount your horse and whistle a few times. That is the only way to initiate it. I explained that in the Description. Once you do that, they should either be walking or running towards Valentine unless they start wandering. Again, not following you at all. I might incoporate a ini file. Let me think about it.

      indeed, you are correct! I hadn't done the whistling procedure on the horse. I'm Brazilian, I know a little English and I used the translator to read the instructions but it's still difficult to understand some points.
      The AMJM gunman must have disappeared as there is a gunman limit of 5 and when you rustle more cows they seem to become followers like the gunman, maybe that's it. I'll test it to see.

    Fantastic mod. I haven't encountered any issues yet, and the rustling and herd mechanics work great. It would be awesome if there were more rustling locations though.
