yo i was able to make this mod have normal eye textures, all you have to do is download the "Looking Healthy Arthur" mod and drag (some of) the head textures from this mod into the "HeadTextures" folder in your "Looking Healthy Arthur" folder in your lml folder (overwrite when it says it, you could also do the upper and lower body textures, just do the same thing)
cool, although i'm pretty sure someone created a newer version of a new version of a old version. Its compatible with this mod. Recommend it to your friends to save them and yourself the hassle of finding the files and dragging and dropping.
this should be pinned and hope the mod author updates the mod since red eyes is still there unless you get the 121 file from the other looking healthy arthur mod, this mod is great since it uses file replacement which doesn't mess with the spawns
I did put the player_zero_merge_121 and +hi version from this mod to the original one. It restored Arthur's skin texture but the eyes remain red. Anything else I can do?
Is this compatible with the Young Clean Arthur mod? Or does it conflict?
Only asking because personally I really like using the YCA Face textures and such, but I don't think they work very well in later chapters. So, if this is compatible with that, perhaps depending on load order, that'd be amazing. However, if it's not, I understand! I'll still probably try this out.
if you remove the head texture 999 from the young Arthur mods and use the rest of the textures you can mix and match I made it where in the beginning my Arthur is young and clean then i made it when it's time for his sickness i changed the textures to be rougher like he got scars from graurma i also use Arthur in epilogue so it looks like he aged
for some reason my arthur's eyes are still red, i noticed that this mod edits way less files than the other one so maybe one of the missing files is the eye files. im still using the other mod right now because arthurs eyes look normal, but like i said he still basically looks sick, his face texture is not sick but his face expressions and eyes are still sick looking.
On the contrary. I think most of the gang is either in denial about Arthur's illness or simply don't understand just how horribly sick he really is during the early parts of Chapter 6. Same with sister Calderon and Charlotte. The news is shocking to them. At the end, Arthur even has to try and convince John that he's dying for sure and can't continue. This mod helps justify those reactions very well imo
I find it even more heart wrenching that Arthur has to put on this facade and continue to be the pillar of the gang when its very foundations start crumbling from within. That despite the fact that he alone knows the truth of his situation, he must endure and suffer in silence. Its a perfect encapsulation of how even before he got sick, Arthur always knew they were living on borrowed time, but everyone else still clung on to the hope that everything would work out fine
When you just play story you ain't need mods ever. But if you complete story several times and don't want play as John in epilogue or you play with mod for endless Arthur, why not?
