Can you give specific detail on what lines you edited in the ymt? I want to use other mods that relies on weapon.ymt, so I'm trying to merge them by recreating their edits.
Details are in the readme, but the actual class is <DegradationInfos> and the variables edited are <DegradeOnTotalShots/>, <DegradeOnDurationWet/>, and <DegradeOnDurationDirty/>.
No friend, lml is constantly reading data from your root folder to replace the files, that causes stuttering and other performance issues, plus big texture mods break the spawn of peds, reducing their frequency by 30-40%
I actually hadn't heard of any performance issues with LML as I've had no issues personally (started modding RDR2 like a week ago) but I went ahead and changed the description and readme to reflect that LML isn't required for this mod.
That's part of the issue, but trust me I've tested this problem for several hours, lml by itself can cause many performance issues. I ran lml with a few lightweight mods, then rode around the heartlands and had a stutter every 10 seconds or so. Removed lml and the game ran absolutely smooth without any stutter whatsoever. My rig is no 4090 but it's also not weak, quite a bit above the recommended requirements. Game running on an M.2 ssd.
I saw that the compressed file is not in the form of a folder. Should I put the content in the "stream" folder, or create a folder with the mod's name inside LML? Everything within LML is in specific folders.
Yeah, pretty much, but since it has a weapon.ymt file. It won't work with WhyEm's, or any other mod that has the same file. Which is okay, if you know what parts of the file to change.
