hello Milferino i don't know if it happens to anyone else but i have lots of mods and they all work fine when i add the “HorseRustlers” mod at the start and during the fights i get drops from 70 to 30 fps when the fights end everything goes back to normal has anyone had the same problem thank you
Is it feasible to additionally raise the prizes you'd get from the vanilla horse fences and maybe the stables? Just to stay in line with your very appreciated addition. I mean, seriously, given the effort you have catching those horses the money you get from them is silly to say the least for both, the fences AND the "legal" horse stables. It's even worth when using the script mod to tax your income.
Its already very easy to make money in the game. Can we lower the prices even further? or maybe have an ini file that we can use to set the prices ourselves?
Maybe a stupid question, but how do you interact to sell? I've held right-click and there's no menu, either on the horse or with it next to me. Do I need to come during the day? The fellows are there and on the map but no interaction.e
Edit: it eventually came up, never mind! Took a few e-presses while standing very close (mounted) on the right-click menu, if anyone else has this problem.
I wonder if it's possible so that this mod could count towards bandit challenge 6. It would be nice so that I don't have to rush chapter 3 to unlock the other fence.
Sorry to alarm you here, this comment is not related to this modification, it is related to your other publication - Cut Dialogue Enhanced. Could you please update your mod so that these lines only work outside of missions - on freeroom, they often go side by side with mission lines which is nasty sounding.
Your prices are now way to high. $350 for a basic horse? A simple Google search says the average price of a horse in 1900 was $65. Figuring the rustler would pay half of that, you're looking at maybe $35 for the sale.
I did more than a "simple Google search" to make this mod pal. In fact the first result that shows up when I search it is this: https://howtoownahorse.com/how-much-did-a-horse-cost-in-the-1800s/, which says the average price was between $100-$300. And I'm not even sure where you're getting "$350 for a basic horse" from, since the rustlers are paying that for Mustangs and other uncommon breeds, the basic ones like Kentucky Saddlers and Walkers are going for $50-$60.
I have no stake in this, but that would be for buying a legal horse from a reputable breeder. During one of the very first missions when Hosea takes you out to buy a new horse, you're told that the reason they buy the horses from you for so cheap is because you don't have the documentation to prove you legally purchased the horse, or the documentation to legally prove the breed or the age or the health of the horse.
But it's your mod so you can make the horses 10k if you want

Thanks for making this mod, it's sorely needed!
