    Unfortunately, I could get animations to work (thanks to LeBakou) but with a very large caveat. Due to my model's positioning compared to the Carbine Repeater's, the animations for the hammer made my custom model's hammer dig very deeply into my model's wooden stock. This would be very tedious to fix as I would have to re-scale, re-model and re-size a lot of the weapon. So for the sake of moving onto other projects, I am choosing to discontinue any further updates made to this mod. As a last update I have added a compendium and catalogue page for the mod thanks to Oakous. I'm going to avoid making edits to weapons.ymt for the sake of compatibility with other mods, meaning it will natively have 7 shots just as the carbine repeater does. I encourage you to make edits to whichever weapons.ymt file you are using if you really want it to shoot 6 shots. I am also not going to be taking requests for any more mods ideas, for the sake of making mods I actually want to make, and that I have exams to revise for instead of making mods.

    Removed it and it still shows up in the menu as a revolving rifle

    hey, dont know if anyones requested this, but the cei rigotti would be a cool lore accurate semi auto you could do. always wanted a lore accurate automatic rifle in the game. :P

      Not a bad idea tbh, I would just need to find a model and stuff. Im not sure how Arthur would have got his hands on an Italian military grade automatic rifle on the American civilian market though lol

      No, because the weapon model uses a static albedo texture, you are unable to change the tint

    Which tools did you use to make this? I'm coming from making peds and weapons for GTA V using Blender. Do you use CodeX or something like that?

      I used Blender for the modelling, I use CodeX (the latest one) for exporting models out of RDR2, and I use Sollumz RDR for modifying/creating drawables

      Yes, not that any of the components on the weapon are animated, yet

      doing animations is a b&@*$ =( welp I guess bolt action and fit when reloading as it place ammo in the reciever and It`ll look ok-ish. A great mod still. Hangman would have been proud

    Hey I downloaded ur mod as said in the README, but nothing change. I use lml but I think I did something wring because none of the mods I downloaded are working :/

      You put the folder into lml. You then (using mod manager) go to the external download page (3rd option down) and press the + button. You then select the file that is in lml and let mod manager externally download. This is how all lml mods are downloaded 👍

      It didn't work, but I'm searching for solutions online, thanks (I see the mods in the list, but not in the game)

      edit : I managed to made it work and the rifle looks fine, but did u planed to add a custom animation ?

      Yes, I plan on animating it. They wont be custom though, because that isnt possible. Ill just use portions of the carbine repeater's animations.

    so i have a 3d model i found of a mosin nagant... would it be possible to replace the bolt action or carcano with it?

      Its possible, but ive got a lot on my plate improving this mod at the moment.
