      you mean it turns black? just go first person and back to third its an issue on whyems side.

      Unfortunately not that i have found only first person or unequiping your shirt and requiping fixes it. and it happens without my textures too. Im able to look passed this though cause its really the only high cut jacket in the game for arthur and john until that boneswapper thing actually comes out then ill see what better jacket i can get for this.

    can you make clean black version of the jacket? cuz i tried to make it myself but i guess my moding and retexturing skills are not enough, well there are no skills so... i think im too stupid for this

      In about a month or two I'll get back to retexturing stuff, had to wipe my pc and get rid of 🏴‍☠️photoshop, gonna look into getting a license for affinity photo 2 so not gonna do anything till then.

    For some reason the hat textures wont load. I've reloaded the files into the stream folder and nothings fixed.  anyone got any ideas on how help?

      Is there mods or downloads you know that conflict with your mod? I have both WhyEm and LML downloaded. It's really odd because the jacket, pants, boots, and shirt all work for me, its just the hat for some reason.

      Maybe youre trying to use johns actual hat. its johns hat in whyems at the trapper.

      No I know that. I went to the trapper and used johns brown leather gambler hat. It may be an installation issue but im not sure how because I did exactly what you said in the mod description and am not new to modding. Item textures 6969690 which contain the hat textures are installed into the item textures folder in the why em folder. Is there a specific version of whyem that this mod requires? I am using the offline version. Also Sorry to keep bothering you about this but there are no other Bonanza mods.

      search for the files that are in my mod for player three hat and then see if u can find em in your whyem installation then replace those with mine, Or use the whyem + EEE on the EEE discord and then install this ontop

      I also found a way to fix the shadow coat glitch for cutscenes. All you have to do is approach any mission in first person.

      no clue how to replace arthurs original clothes no one makes any tutorials on how to do so if they do  its locked in a discord server like all information on how to mod rdr2.

      Whyems DLC w EEE and smoking complete are the only mods anyone will ever need, so idk why you would care if its bloated theres nothing better that replaces those files.

      easiest way to do it without messing with catalog and shopitems is to just replace an ydd of existing item with the one you want. so get john's gambler hat ydd and replace a random player_zero hat with it, then edit the textures. look at how this mf did it. https://www.nexusmods.com/reddeadredemption2/mods/2531

      Ok that does work, ive replaced arthurs hat with johns BUT theres clipping on the side of the hat thru arthurs head/hair how would i fix that? i tried copying the bones and bounding sphere positions in the yddxml but that didnt change anything

      expressions problem, try to copy john's expressions from his ymt and paste it into arthur's, if that doesnt work you're gonna need expression editor to set custom values, you can also study how whyem tilted his hats with expressions and reverse engineer it but idk how doable it is

      Where would whyems expressions be though cause there isnt any player ymt? do you know which file the expressions are in? thanks for the help btw

      edit there is an expression_sets.xml , i copied that in my stream folder (without whyem installed) and it didnt have any effect

      Just sucks there isnt a better jacket to do it with, if  Johns western jacket was cut higher more at the waist it would be almost perfect though just gotta wait for clothes model editing to be a thing in rdr2.

      Open my files in open iv or codex and you will clearly see they are edited. My part is making mods not teaching you how to use them, go figure that out yourself, how do you think i figured out how to install mods? It wasnt by asking stupid questions thats for sure but i have asked a lot of stupid questions in regards to making mods and thats ok everyone has to learn but not when installing mods and getting a working modded rdr 2  thats a problem only you can solve.

      you should know exactly what to do with the files i provide, i include a brief installation but im not going to treat you like a baby and go over steps for a freaking simple retexture mod dude. I include pictures showing exactly wtf you need to wear and the color etc. thats more than most would do they would just post the files and leave you in the wind, youre lucky you got me.

      and if you actually meant "why are some clothing pieces in the screenshots retextured and some the standard original textures unedited?" thats cause i only retextured the shirt, pants, coat, and hat, the rest are just things you "should" wear to complete the look which i had no need to edit cause they already are what i need them to be, but i'm a delightful person so i make nice screenshots pointing out the clothing pieces required to complete the look in the screenshots for users with brains.
