Could you please do 1899 infantry? I understand if not since i know your busy but i believe adding more branches would improve and make the army roleplay experience a lot more immersive. Thanks!

could you update the mod so that it also affects this army ped? he's included in the army dispatch group from the law mod.

pretty great, but the gunbelts were usually in a tannish brown color, or dark grey, not off-white

Можно ли сделать так, чтобы игрок мог носить военную форму?

Any chance a variation replacing the beige cavalry hat to a Union cap is coming? A little more reminiscent of the Civil War but I think it would be a cool variation to include.

It's not planned however you can do it very easily. If you open the .ymt's with notepad or notepad++ do ctrl+h and replace all on each these listed below.

      cs_captainmonroe_ms1_hat_000< replace all with hat_mr1_058<
      coat_mr1_117_c1_999_ab< replace all with hat_mr1_028_c0_000_ab<
      cs_captainmonroe_ms1_hat_000_c0_000_nm< replace all with hat_mr1_058_c3_000_nm<
      cs_captainmonroe_ms1_hat_000_c0_000_m< replace all with hat_mr1_058_c1_000_m<
      crown_mr1_001_c1_999_ab< replace all with hat_mr1_028_c0_000_ab<

(and save all 3 .ymt's after you are done obviously)

If you don't know the path to the three .ymt files you have to edit it is inRed Dead Redemption 2 > lml > Realistic Blues Army Uniforms V2 > Streaming

edit: If anyone sees this message I have decided to make it an optional file download! Enjoy! :D

Dude! Thank you so much! It was a little hard at first navigating the ymt files but as soon as I figured it out, it worked like a charm. Some of the ped models, particularly the officer models I found, don't spawn with a hat which is unfortunate but luckily rampage trainer lets you add a hat which remedies it somewhat. But overall, it worked like a charm! Any way I can get rid of the leggings and opt for cavalry boots? I hate to ask since I'm sure you may be busy, just curious is all.

Glad to help! If some of the hats are missing you might of forgot to copy the < symbol after the texture string name. When always copying the string with < at the end they will all have hats. Perhaps you might want to redownload the .ymt's and try them again if something went wrong.
For doing the boots its the same process just with different strings. (Make sure you copy the < part too! :D)

      boot_mr1_065_right< replace all with cs_captainmonroe_ms1_boot_000<
      crown_mr1_000_c3_999_ab< replace all with cs_captainmonroe_ms1_boot_000_c0_000_ab<
      crown_mr1_000_c3_000_nm< replace all with cs_captainmonroe_ms1_boot_000_c0_000_nm<
      crown_mr1_000_c3_000_m< replace all with cs_captainmonroe_ms1_boot_000_c0_000_m<
      cs_sherifffreeman_ms1_pants_000< replace all with cs_captainmonroe_ms1_pant_000<

Now to get rid of the leggings so they don't clip with the boots you have to do the same thing but now only have a < symbol in the "replace with" box.

      sock_mr1_001_rightbootcut< replace all with <
      boot_mr1_044_c1_999_ab< replace all with <
      boot_mr1_044_c1_000_nm< replace all with <
      boot_mr1_044_c1_000_m< replace all with <

(and again like last time save all 3 .ymt's after you are done obviously)

You're a marvel dude! Thanks again! Some of the officer hats are still missing and I did copy and replace your directions, but sadly their hats are still missing which make their scalps look weird. Oddly enough when I gave one of the npcs a hat through rampage, it seemed to fix their hair. No matter, I'm not terribly worried about it.

Now if I could add Capt. Monroe's belt, the soldiers would be complete! I'm pretty sure his belt was black and had a cross draw holster. Then they would look identical to Civil War era cavalrymen!

Strange it was not working, if you have discord you can @ me in any of the rdr2 related discords and or the Rampage discord (or just add me by username, same as here) and I can just give you my .ymt's that had all the hats working.

Sorry if this is a dumb question that you get asked a lot, but any plans to make these into playable clothes? They’re so awesome and it’d be awesome to clear bandit hideouts as a Cavalry soldier.

No question is a dumb question in my book! :D However regarding player clothing, sadly the way internally the skeletons and bones of the player characters work are different to regular peds. (pedestrians- internal word for npc) Since regular peds have much fewer bones and how their skeletons are almost completely different, a majority of clothing will look crazily wonky and is mainly incompatible because of how clothing attaches to bones.

I have played around with trying to do a player character but it never looked quite right to me as it usually ended up being quite different looking than the army peds I created previously. Perhaps one day I can find a nice middle ground.

Hey first of all...... all of your mods are amazing thanks so much for making them but I do have a question on your realistic khaki uniforms mod you included an optional file for mp models does this mod also include those might be a dumb question lol

Thank You :) And on this mod I decided against having the mp_male ped as this mod has so many variations. However with a trainer such as Rampage trainer you can still set yourself as mp_male and spawn the army ped(s) and in the spawner database there you can clone their outfit to you which basically does the same effect.
      Hope this helps! :)

This is really cool - is there any possible way to stream this to a redM server, and if so could you point me in the right direction as to how?

I know its possible somehow but sadly I know very little about how RedM stuff works and I don't know where to point you :(
However if you do end up finding a way or someone that can do so for you, you can use my files as long as I am credited :)
  9. Plans for infantry or artillery even? or is this solely cavalry? I believe your previous version had infantry and cavalry as well
