I'm planning on adding as many inaccessible interiors as possible providing that they exist in the game map in SP. Online interiors will work via teleporting.
The only issue with this is that I don't play RDO or RDR2 in general that much (mostly I don't have much time for it) and this makes it difficult for me because I don't know where there might be inaccessible interiors. If there are more locked doors then I'm afraid I can't do much about it. This mod makes sure that all known doors (1058) are unlocked. (for anyone reading this, it does not mean that 1058 interiors have been unlocked. The unlocked interiors are a lot less because most of the 1058 are already unlocked)
Hello. In my opinion this is one of the most important mods for rdr2. Thank you for the great work.Perhaps an eventual update could delete the rocks, block access to Tempest Rim, or add a portal there.
Am I missing something? I have a script hook downloaded and moved the asi and ini to the root, so the red circles in front appear, but they dont work. I hold E when the rest prompt appears, but it justt makes me sit down.
Is there a way to disable the portals completely? I require Online Content Unlocker for some other mods I'm using, but I find the bright red teleport really immersion breaking as well as a cheesy way to escape the law.
man what are these portals i see yall talking about i got the mod installed and working but am very confused what portals these comments keep talking about
There's one in Valentine on the backside of the houses if you were heading to the train station. They teleport you into an adjacent building that's not accessible via a door, or the door was causing issues, so a portal was added. They're red glowing circles which stick out pretty hard, hence why people don't like them for immersion.
Is there a way to open the doors in the school in Armadillo? (front and backdoor) Why is the door in the Tumbleweed church closed? AFAIR you could enter the church in story mode.
Besides my comments, the mod is great a makes the open world a lot more accessible after completing all missions. It's an essential mod for me and I'm using it for several years now. Thank you!
EDIT: Still the room on the upper floor at the Gunsmith in Saint Denis (where the illegal business is) is still unaccessible.
Quite a fun mod to use to explore the interiors of buildings from the story mode, The only real complaints I have are the lack of NPC's in the moonshine bars and the fact that there are no bartenders.
Edit: I forgot that the volume of bars is affected by the time of day so my first complaint is void.
I'm curious does anybody know if this mod has a heavy impact on performance? Idk a whole lot about modding, I'm just following the nexus guides. The last game I moded some of them caused my game to crash (NPC Schedule rework and companion mode on howarts legacy). I'd love to have interiors unlock but idk if it will mess up my game. Idk if mods will have the same negative effects on rdr2 as well
I couldn't make some locations immersively accessible but I decided to add portals instead so that people can enter anyways. The recent updates have less portals but you can find one boat in Saint Denis which has a couple of them. If I recall correctly you can also find some of those in Annesburg and one in Valentine.
People just don't like them because they "ruin their experience".
