If it bothers you that the off-hand still shows up sometimes, I fixed that issue in a bonus file for a mod I made. You'll still need this mod though in order for it to work properly
Just managed to download this via my Phone because my PC kept telling me it's a Virus (false positive, I got it) and refused to download. I unzipped the .asi file and tomorrow I'll try to send it to my PC, in case it works, I just put the .asi into the Game Directory, do I? The Folder where my RDR2.exe is located?
yes. in my experience the folders from mods always go into the lml folder, however sometimes theres files in there that will go into the game directory aswel (ped damage overhaul had a lml folder and a few files that had to go in the directory). read the nexus page or look for a read me txt or any txt file that tells you how to install it and what files go where.
in this mod, the asi file will go into the directory.
This is to remove the otherwise unremoveable off-hand holster. Without mods, you cannot unequip the secondary holster. And even then, with other mods/trainers like Rampage, Optional Dual Wield, and even this one, the missing holster can cause clothing physics bugs and invisible body/clothing bugs.
However, pairing this mod with the bonus file from one solves all my problems. https://www.nexusmods.com/reddeadredemption2/mods/4183?tab=files
Worked great up until the fishing mission with Dutch and Hosea, then crashed every single time I went for my 2nd cast while fishing after you chase down the guys on the train with Archibald. I tried 3 times to get past it (which sucks because there's no save checkpoint between the start off the mission and the end of the train chase so it takes forever to retry) but gave up and could only get past it after I disabled this mod.
