Hi, I have no experience in game modding. You attached the code for the Instant Travel mod, I thought I would just replace the strings, but I get a lot of errors in visual studio, even though I used all the libraries. I want to translate your mod, but I don't understand how. What should I do?
After using the instant travel me and my horse are spawning on the roof of buildings near the waypoint. Not a big deal. I fixed the issue by renaming my horse to Roach.
Is there any way to get this to work when you have a bounty on the back of your horse? Whenever I try to instant travel while I have a bounty target and I instant travel I always get a "Failed (name of the bounty) was left behind".
For anyone having issues with horse rearing up instead of doing a fast travel when pressing fast travel button - it means your waypoint is too far vs. your current horse stamina core fill so then you need to select a closer spot to travel and/or feed ur horse to full.
I'm not sure if different horses have different max range as I didn't test it enough yet, but overall mod works fine.
I suspect you're not looking in the right place if you're seeing the words fast travel or anything is greyed out.
You need to go into the map and set a target waypoint. Then be on your horse, not in combat, and go into cinematic camera mode. Then it should say "Instant Travel" and the button to hit to do it. Sometimes it won't appear and have to exit the game and relaunch for it to work.
Absolutely love your mod. Fully endorsed. Thank you so much for sharing it. I hate to ask, but would you be willing to create a version that is closer to horse's top speed? Like the fastest it can go without damaging it's stamina core.. so that it doesn't consume so much daylight lol. Or maybe creating an ini file to make it user configurable? Please and thank you :)
