Hey Oakus, thank you SO much for another great addition to your incredible audio mod collection! I have a request: could you please make a mod that replaces or removes the deadeye activation noise, especially for Arthur? It is such a constant assault on the senses and makes it impossible for me to use deadeye without reducing or muting the game volume. I hope it's not too much trouble!
I look through over 500 files and couldn't find a complete deadeye activation noise, I think it's made of multiple audio which is going to be extremely difficult to figure out, I did export some audio that sound similar to the activation sound but I think it might be eagle eye.
Thanks mate! That is a mod made by Wickedhorseman I'm pretty sure. It's modeled to be the Spencer Rifle but he never released it, then some guy reuploaded it but he removed it because people kept saying he stole it. He gave all credits and said he was just reuploading as the creator never released it.
For the dead eye sounds, can't you just copy and paste the regular custom sounds you already made? Would be way easier than making a dead eye sound for each weapon. I'm sure a lot of people, like me, wouldn't mind the lack of a "slow-mo" effect in the sound.
Yes but that's not the issue, it's finding the files. There over 1400 files to go through and IDK what is what because they are all hashes. I'm waiting on another modder to finish his overhaul as he as done all of this and ask him for help.
The Carcano Sound Overhaul and this one share the same folder name (RCRAO) so if you want to use both you have to rename one of the folders, maybe change this ones name to RSCAO (Realistic Spencer Carbine Audio Overhaul)
For the camera shake, he is using Combat Experience. For the slower reload, he might be using Realistic Weapon Rebalance or any of the slower reload mods. Here is the link to both mods: https://www.nexusmods.com/reddeadredemption2/mods/1025 (Combat Experience) and https://www.nexusmods.com/reddeadredemption2/mods/1156 (Realistic Weapon Rebalance)
