It works perfectly. I've been playing with 2 other friends, we've done all kinds of missions and it's always been just the 3 of us on the server. f*#@ the hackers
The Vortex download doesn't work for some reason. It says I've downloaded it, but Vortex won't even show me the mod. I installed it manually and it works now. Not sure what Vortex's problem is.
online has way more content that you never see in campaign. Different jobs to level up and unlock content, a story mode of its own and a lot more mission type activities. The additional clothing, accessories, etc online make campaign seem like a stripped-down version. It's definitely worth playing through campaign, but online is more fun and engaging. I spent countless hours in campaign trying to unlock every little thing. when I finally tried online play, I wished I had played through the campaign quick and spent all that time on my online character. when griefers got bad, I just started playing in a solo lobby and disabling it when I wanted to do multiplayer content.
online is if you want to play as a mute character with no connection and everything in online is weirdly sped up compared to story mode cause people who play online have the attention span of 4 minutes and you have to do weird activities that dont make sense to get money, not to mention the community is very toxic because the games so dry they have all resorted to killing randoms and most of the online community are e-daters.
I've been using this mod for 4 years and never got banned. Rockstar would actually ban you if you're duplicating or modfying anything involving your character. Those reporting they got banned while using this are the same bigots who are modding, flying around, and other pathetic excuses to not just play the game and level up naturally.
Hi there, ive been using this also for long now too, never had a problem. Today i returned to play online with the wife, just doing coop stuff but the game keeps loading forever. Do you know if this no longer lets you play private?
I'm not sure if you're still having problems, but I was having the same issue you had (Never ending loading screen). I fixed mine by removing the files, loading into the game, then exiting, re-adding the files, and logging back in. It's working again. I hope it helps you or someone else that might be having this issue.
Just an observation...the two people who claimed they got banned using this...I have a feeling that they used this to make a Private Lobby, AND use the Mod Menu mod to spawn a bunch of chests to loot, thinking they were invisible to Rockstar because they were in a Private Lobby.
Pus they also mentioned they were making a LOT of gold. So, I'm suspicious
Adding to the fact that people were asking in the Lobby Manager Mod if they can make a private lobby with this or the other mod, and use MODS in their private Lobbies....so, if they made Private Lobbies and then used Mods with their friends would've gotten them banned

Here's hoping rockstar won't ban us for wanting to play solo (aka cheat free) games.
Open the enclosed startup.meta with notepad.
Enter the specified password after the bottom command.
For example)
</CDataFileMgr__ContentsOfDataFileXml> yourpassword
If you share the file and password with a friend, it becomes an invited session.
