      Hello
      1. Download the 'RDR2 Loading Screens' files
      2. Extract the.rar using winrar or 7zip (just like any other mod on Nexus)
      3. Place the (extracted) 'RDR2 Loading Screens' folder into gameroot\lml

      done!

Please note: the RDR1 Wallpapers are just desktop wallpapers; they are NOT loading screens!

YES ! .... ALL THE BLOOD ! This IS Red Dead ! hahahah

the tonal values for my wallpapers are spot on accurate to the original RDR1 screens (as I used them as a reference)
The RDR2 Loader Screens are slightly deeper in histogram levels and curve levels as the imagery is MUCH more detailed obviously

415 images, that's impressive. But unfortunately I've found that they look quite blurry on a 1080p display - presumably because of the JPG format. It's understandable that you have to maintain a small file size for each image to keep the download small, but an alternative version with higher quality images on PNG format would be appreciated, for people like me who don't mind huge file sizes. Nonetheless this is a great mod as it is.

I can assure you that each file are optimised and exported for best onscreen display quality (source file is 1920x1080/8bit@72 dpi)
I run a full 4K system with no loss in quality and have checked them on a 1080p reference monitor and again, dont see any issues.
The file format is completely irrelevant (PNGs serve a completely different visual/design purpose)
The issue you are experiencing may have to do with the generator encoding (which I will look into) OR
the visual 'negative' effect in game (which Im looking to eliminate as soon as I find a mod that can remove it)

I might suggest that you tweak your (NVidia) Control Panel resolution settings to run your monitor in *Highest* Desktop Depth, *RGB* Color Format, *Highest* Output Depth and *Full* Dynamic Range and adjust desktop size/position to *Fullscreen* and *Display* scaling.

Thank you for your feedback though.

About the "negative effect", I believe the file that controls it is called animpostfx.ymt. It's a hassle to edit it though because it's hashed, so I'd recommend using the unhasher tool on it first.

But yeah I think you're right, the images look fine when I open them individually but for some reason they look worse in-game. I use DLSS and a custom reshade so yeah, probably something on my end. Thank you for taking the time to reply!

yeah i know about that file and Im waiting on an edit (as I cant do it myself; way too many headaches but Im sure theres someone out there thats addressed it) My source file is actually 4k downscaled to 1080p exports (only due to the recommendations of the generator mod but I have done a 4K export and runs fine on my system so I dunno)

DLSS might be the issue (I use TAA / FXAA) or a patcher depending*

Ah a custom reshade (cool!) I messed around with them for a while but I feel my setup is good enough plus I use WhyEms Visuals cinematic personally (but each to their own I guess)

      Rampage is irrelevant.
You must have scripthook and Lenny Mod Loader installed and either dinput8.dll, version.dll or Online Content Unlocker installed.
      Then simply
      - Download and Extract the .rar
      - Place the extracted folder in your lml folder inside your game root directory
      - Run the game
