Thanks to a kind soul helping me out a bit, the mod will no longer conflict with other mods using the assets_albedo file. You will be able to change color to any of the new codes added in. You install the mod with LML as before, but my MDBranth's Horses folder is no longer required for this mod.
Hi! These eyes look absolutely fantastic! I just wanted to ask, what resolution are they? I used them before, but now I'm rebuilding my mod list and I want to make sure that these wont cause the spawning bug. Thank you!

I ask only because it adds horses with different coloured eyes, and while I don't think that would be a problem, I'm not experienced in the YDD editing required to make that happen. Thank You!
hey, where could i find this awesome horse ? It looks similar with this one . But the latter has purely black fur, while the former seems to have some gray in its coat. Additionally, the former has a white nose, whereas the latter's nose is pink. Or perhaps it's just the difference caused by the lighting?
it probably will yeah, since her fantasy horses usually have unique eye textures, wich will replace the in game eyes, just like mine. The difference is that her replacements will apply to ALL eyes of either the blue or brown code. So basically every horse in the game with brown eyes for an example, will have the new eye texture if it’s replacing the brown eyes.
My mod will replace the vanilla textures, plus adds in a bunch of other colors to choose from. The other colors are streamed as a dlc, wich will prevent conflicts with mods using the assets_albedo.ymt file. The textures however, will conflict if another mod have the same texture file.

Edit: Just out of curiosity though, what horses do Electrina and Frigidito replace? Only asking since the Fantasy Horse mod only replaces the Tiger Striped Bay Mustang and White Arabian...?
they replace the overo and tobiano american paint. I don’t remember wich texture I used, but as long as the name of the ymt’s and ytd’s is not the same as for the other horse, there shouldn’t be an issue.
I have checked and triple checked my installation ("MDBranth's Realistic Horse Eyes" folder is in LML and Mod Manager says it is enabled,) but it appears it isn't working. The horses I have edited with eye-codes have missing eyes (black empty voids.) I must mention, I am also using WhyEm's and EEE. I have since reverted to a previous release of your mod that I luckily kept (the WhyEm + EEE merge) and this one does work. Not sure why this updated version isn't working for me (perhaps it is conflicting with WE and EEE.) Just thought I'd let you know.
This mod doesn’t conflict with other mods so I don’t know why that is happening :( Keep in mind that the old whyem’s + eee version is not the latest update.
Awesome mod but unfortunately you don't know how to provide and explain a in-depth instruction on how to even install this so gg. You're lack of explaining is going to hurt your mod long term dude fyi :(
maybe you can explain it because i read your "instructions" and have no idea what to do. i feel like i have to have a degree in computer science to use your mods. it would help and make things easier if you gave better instructions.
Buddy there is no way to give “easier” instructions. I’m telling what you need to do, what to get in order to make things work. I am not gonna explain in detail how another person’s mod works too, there is a DESCRIPTION for a reason. I literally just said “drop the Realistic Horse Eyes folder in lml” wich is the ONLY thing you need to do to install this mod. How to install lml is not up to me to explain, even though it’s really straightforward how to install that as well. If you’re not ready to at least try to understand how modding works, even by a simple thing such as reading the description, then you’re not ready to mess with your game’s files yet 🙂
i most definitely agree with you cause i dont really understand either all is see is drag and drop but my thing is drag and drop what exactly because from what im thinking its drag and drop the files inside of realistic eyes folder or drag and drop the entire folding into stream
Hey Melanie i am still using this amazing mod and wanted to try the apatite colour because it looks close to the color champagne horses actually have, but i noticed it looks lighter than the ones in the picture you gave us, seems to be the citrine one from what i can see. So i tried the citrine and it ended being the one i wanted. (if i'm not mistaking, the citrine is supposed to be lighter and more "yellow-ish" ? compared to the apatite) so i have the feeling the codes of this two could be reversed or it's just an impression. Just wanted to tell you.
I don’t really understand what you mean, you do choose the eyes yourself by putting the codes in😅 As for the ymt files, I don’t know what you want, if you want me to upload every single editable horse you mean?
For some reason my game won't load properly once I enable this mod. Not sure if it's related, but for horse-related mods I only installed high resolution hair mods (characters,horses...etc), and some Asi mods for horses
I just came across this conflict myself with LMCCT. Both mods use the same file 'p_c_horse_01_teef_000_c0_000_ab.ytd'. Since horse overhaul uses that file and its associated +hi.ytd (this mod doesn't use +hi.ytd), I'm just going to set horse overhaul mod to load afterwards. Edit: This didn't work, I've temporarily disabled horse eyes till I figure out how to fix it Edit2: I never found out how to fix it, but I think lightweight horse overhaul mod caused a few issues for me so I disabled it. Back to horse eyes mod :)
