    This just doesnt make any sense man i did everything correctly hopefully cuz the instructions were unclear and the ak still doesnt fire fast, pls help!

      go into lml folder and then put this into the AK 47 folder

    awesome tweak, thanks, the single shot from the original mod was annoying as hell..

    just something i also edited on your weapons.ymt was the bullet spread, the gun was spraying bullets all over the place

    just in case anyone else is wondering how to do this; open weapon.ymt with notepad > search "accuracyspread" > find section where is says kalashnikov and change all the values to 0.5 just before you get to the line item: "RunAndGunAccuracyMinOverride value="-1.00000000"

      I noticed that once I turned off the accuracy modifier in the cheat menu but I could not find out which option changed it. Thank you very much for tracking that down I will get this fixed and update it.

      Thanks for the accuracy tweak suggestion.
      For people like me who thinks the fire rate is too fast, also look for kalashnikov and <WeaponTimeBetweenShots> at Ln68123, Col35.
      Between <WeaponTimeBetweenShots> and </WeaponTimeBetweenShots> you can adjust TimeBetweenShotMin and  TimeBetweenShotMax (I set them to 0.5) to your liking,

    Hey, could you please tell if there is a way to disable full auto from the Sproingfield rifle for NPCs (Lemoyne Raiders, Guarma Soldiers, Lawmen, Pinkertons etc.) I have now had multiple instances of hostile NPCs having full auto fire with the Springfield, due to which I have failed multiple missions at least once (Guarma, Pinkerton Lakay attack etc.) Is there a way to disable full auto for the Springfield for NPCs, or at least remove the Springfield entirely from hostile NPC loadouts?

      Thank you for bringing this up, I have not encountered any of these situations and did not notice it was even possible. I don't know how to change NPC loadouts but the original author may.

    I know this is out of the blue but can you make a mod for the ak-47 that toggle the display to manually on/off the model AK-47 as i always encounter an issue with the rifle being invisible and yes i know TAB is the fix but its so annoying pressing TAB over and over just to show it.

      I think the game might be conflicted when deciding whether to use the AK model or the Springfield model I will try to remove the Springfield model completely and see if that helps if it does I will get back to you.

    I've Tried Installing the Original Mod But Can't get it working,
    The Name of the Weapon seems to be there but the AK is not present.
    I Have Whyem's DLC Installed which has its own "Weapons.ymt" Could this be the issue?

      Yes, any Weapon.ymt makes it incompatible, you gotta merge it

    Hey folks, I will get on fixing the spread for the AKM during J-term. I did not notice the degree of the spread because I was using rampage trainer to adjust the accuracy. Once I find the magazine capacity variable I will update with a 40-round and 75-round version to simulate using the compatible RPK magazines for those who wanted more capacity.

    Sorry for the delay on replying to comments, life has been tremendously busy with school and work.

      there is a function in weapons.ymt, to open the weapons.ymt you can use notepad++.

      I found it. It's not the weapons.ymt file. You can change the AMMO limit quantity in the catalog_sp.ymt file. I've tried in vain so far...

      I have no idea where it is off the top of my head. The magazine size would probably be a multiplier based on the original Springfield. I will look around the file for it!
