This is by far the most detailed rdr2 edit ever undertaken[/font][/i][/color]Peaky Blinders in Red Dead Redemption is an original story set in the world of Peaky Blinders, yet in a different timeline. The assumption is the same people exist, but the past happened differently - some characters are pretty much the same as they are in the series Peaky Blinders, while others are on different paths. The film tells an original story over the course of 80 minutes.This is the end result of thousands of hours of sound and video editing, careful story boarding and scene mapping, and extensive research into the show. The audio has been mixed to sound like a you are watching the show. The tone and style match the series Peaky Blinders. This is currently in post-production with a March release date. I will update the release date in this description when it is confirmed.Using the game Red Dead Redemption 2 (heavily modded and customized) as a film sandbox is something that's been of interest to me for a long time. Released 6 years ago, it is still the best representation of real life that can be customized - building sets around cinematic camera angles - customizing character speech to create mouths that match the spoken dialogue. The only thing I'm missing is some of the visual mods that allow heavy customization of the characters clothes and features. There are however hundreds of character models, and I did my best to represent each character closely. The video is engaging substance wise, so the appearance of the characters is secondary to the world you step in. Lastly, while this trailer holds up to the bar I set on this project, the actual feature is far beyond the quality especially given the score and context of the scenes. There are specific scenes that elicit different feelings and consist of very different tone that are to be considered. The creators of the mods used in production are credited in the end credits of this 80-minute full-dialogue-driven film.[/center]

John is a member of what is supposed to be an elite special unit currently assigned to Strawberry. The unit was created to bring small time policing up to the times. As far as the world of Red Dead Redemption 2 is concerned, this is part of a what could be described as a federal branch of law enforcement, having broad jurisdiction and superseding all local law enforcement. This unit does not have authority over US Marshalls; however, they don't have authority over this unit. It's basically a license for John to do whatever the hell he wants and be completely protected via immunity.John is a money hungry thug who completely betrays the public trust while bringing terror to the citizens he was sworn to protect. You will notice that John has some restraint and does answer to the mayor (although he is not held accountable by him). Throughout these short films you will see that John does have boundaries - There are characters that John won't kill (or even rob). John's professional relationships will be explored further in Degenerate Cop II. [/b][b]Much of the footage from this was captured using a badly outdated GPU, so bear with the lack of frames from time to time - Movies are 24 frames per second after all - TV content is generally 30. When you set your TV to the annoying True Motion setting (which comes default on most new TVs) you get the Soap Opera effect. It blows my mind how many people don't notice, but I do. That being said, much of this was recorded at 30 fps (and with a 4 gig GPU at times I was lucky to pull of 15). I don't really do gameplay - think of this as a cinematic effort and ignore the low frames and take in the narrative / series of events that unfortunately for much of the NPCs unfold. [/b][b]Red Dead Redemption II - Degenerate Cop: Officer John Marston began production almost 8 months ago. I've been doing the best I can at taking the footage from my older setup and piecing it together to tell the story using much of the RDR2 speech database. I've put the most time of any of my productions into this production (and its sequel which will come soon after). I hope to release more beyond that in the future, but I guess the response will weigh heavily on this.[/b][/size][/font][img]https://i.imgur.com/EsQaU6g.png[/img][/color]
