Merci pour le conseil de changement des chiffres afin d'augmenter la taille de la lune. J' ai quand même téléchargé votre mod pour pouvoir vous remercier avec un like. 👍
Hey, unfortunately I'm not available and I don't think it would be meaningful You can scroll down to the comments and you will find the method And change it yourself The method is easy, it is just a text file
Hi! I've been trying to make this mod work out but I simply can't. I've reinstalled it, erased all mods and just installed this one, etc. Nothing seems to work.
Any possible solutions for this? Maybe I'm doing something wrong but It's as simply as putting the lml folder to the game's location, that's all lmao.
Unfortunately, solving problems is very difficult for me Because I am a normal user, I am not advanced Maybe you can download ModManager From here https://www.rdr2mods.com/downloads/rdr2/tools/76-lennys-mod-loader-rdr/ (The site is currently not open for an unknown reason) Activate the mode from there Maybe it will solve the problem If something new comes to my mind, I will repeat it again
Could you try to experiment with that go to Red Dead Redemption 2\lml\replace\update_1 Change folder name update_1 To update Then go to Red Dead Redemption 2\lml\replace\update\common\data\timecycle install .xml Open the document and change one weather to try Let's say <GamePath>update_1:/common/data/timecycle/w_sunny.xml</GamePath> Change that to <GamePath>update:/common/data/timecycle/w_sunny.xml</GamePath> Save and run the game Change the weather to sunny and try it
I don't know what you need to do for the mod to work Since you also said that you deleted the mods you had and the mod did not work Unfortunately, I don't know what exactly is causing the problem I apologize for this
It is possible that the problem is caused by Scripthook Try another version (Save the version you have) Or because you do not have the rdr2_asi_loader mod Search the game files. Do you have a file called version.dll?? I suggest you try here first Then try a different version of Scripthook Unless you are sure that you are using the correct version for your version of the game
I do have the version.dll file (asi loader) and also have the latest scripthook version which is this one https://www.nexusmods.com/reddeadredemption2/mods/1472?tab=files
I'll try to use another scripthook version as you said and let you know if it worked.
What's your modlist? I just used assem's guide further down in the comments to change the values in all Vestigia's weathers and it works fine. Should be as simple as changing the required lines if you already have mods that alter timecycles. Should be even simpler if you have no mods that alter the same files. Obviously you need Lenny's Mod Loader to use this too if you don't already
It'll be WhyEm Visuals causing it as that mod uses it's own weather files so make sure you are making the edits to those files instead. The files to edit are all in 'WhyEmVisuals>cycles>time' folder. Every file in there ('w_sunny.xml' and all others starting with 'w_' in that folder) need to be changed, otherwise your moon will change size as the weather changes. WhyEm's Visuals mods actually increases the size of the sun and moon already.
Notepad++ will really help, you can open every file you want to change and do it all at once with Ctrl+F, then select the replace tab. Find the lines in the w_ files (should be two per file usually) beginning with <sky_moon_disc_size> and paste that whole line into your 'find what' section of the replace menu; then paste again into your 'replace with' section and edit the numbers to whatever size you are wanting, default is something like 1.1973 and this mod uses 10.0000 which makes it massive. Select 'replace' first just to test that it is detecting the lines you pasted, once confirmed it has worked in your current file you have open, you can select 'replace all' which will replace those lines in every file you have open.
Not sure if what Assem said is correct about the visualsettings.dat conflicting. I'm using Vestigia+Dynamic Seasons + Best TAA/Visual settings and have had no problems so far. Hope this helps
Thank you for trying to help him As I said above (I think) That is, I am not sure Because I am a regular user But I remember a problem I encountered When modifying weather files And modify the visualsettings.dat file This probably wouldn't be a problem for the Moon's size But I think it created a problem when using Remove fog I like to say something (I think) it helps Because I use the translator and I may not be good at fixing problems
Hello. I just tried to install this mod but it didn't make the moon bigger as you can in screenshot, is this happened because I use VESTIGIA - A Graphical and Environmental Overhaul ? Are they compatible each other?
Unfortunately, this mod uses the same files that I use If you want, I can tell you how to modify the files you have to make the moon bigger But it will take some time from you Because you have to adjust every weather you have
Hmm I have no modding knowledge for games so it would be very hard to me this why I don't think I can't able to do it but thanks for your response to my post.
It is not difficult to follow the steps It will just take some time from you I am also an ordinary user, not a professional If you change your mind Or if anyone wants to edit the file Try with one file first Example Open w_sunny.xml Look for <sky_moon_disc_size> You will find that it is 2.0000 Change all those numbers to 10.0000 Or copy this to make it easier for you <sky_moon_disc_size> 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000</sky_moon_disc_size>
i have tried changing the sky moon disc size to <sky_moon_disc_size> 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000</sky_moon_disc_size> in vestiga, no change to origina size.
also do i place the the replace file in lml area?, or just a one of the folders in the replace file? thx
Go to the path that I think is Red Dead Redemption 2\lml\replace\update_1\common\data\timecycle Or update without _1 You will find files ending in Xml Try with one file to see if the method works or not Remember that <sky_moon_disc_size> It is in every file Two texts you have to change from 2.0000 to 10.0000 Don't forget to change the weather on the trainer To the weather that you modified
Strange problem Try downloading Mod Loader https://www.rdr2mods.com/downloads/rdr2/tools/76-lennys-mod-loader-rdr/ Activate the mode from there (Maybe) this will solve the problem
Its recommended that you run RDR2 and Rockstar Games Launcher as admin anyway, especially if you have them installed to your C drive. It could be a permissions issue which is why you should just set both .exe's to run as admin all the time
I don't see that Weather files are located at Red Dead Redemption 2\update_1.rpf\common\data\timecycle Don't forget that my knowledge is limited I use the translator too ... I understand you now, you mean the trainer But the weather files, as I mentioned above, do not have a file named Halloween You can use openiv Go to the track Show me the file if you find it Because I didn't find it
The message will be long I will send it to you privately Simply open the mod file Look for w_sunny Open the file Delete what is inside it and replace with the edit that I will send you
Download Scripthook and LML There is no replacement just move the file inside the game folder Unless you are using another mod that uses the same files

You're welcome, man.
You can scroll down to the comments and you will find the method

Ty in advance.
Because I am a normal user, I am not advanced
Maybe you can download ModManager
From here https://www.rdr2mods.com/downloads/rdr2/tools/76-lennys-mod-loader-rdr/
(The site is currently not open for an unknown reason)
Activate the mode from there
Maybe it will solve the problem

I tried to found a solution yesterday but the only thing I found was something related to the mod ''Visuals'' from whyems.
It still is not very helpful since even without that mod I still can't have yours working, but hey, it's something lol
Again, ty for your help and I'll look forward for any possible solutions in the future.
go to
Red Dead Redemption 2\lml\replace\update_1
Change folder name update_1
To update
Then go to
Red Dead Redemption 2\lml\replace\update\common\data\timecycle
install .xml
Open the document and change one weather to try
Let's say <GamePath>update_1:/common/data/timecycle/w_sunny.xml</GamePath>
Change that to
<GamePath>update:/common/data/timecycle/w_sunny.xml</GamePath>
Save and run the game
Change the weather to sunny and try it
Since you also said that you deleted the mods you had and the mod did not work
Unfortunately, I don't know what exactly is causing the problem
I apologize for this
Anyway, thank you again for trying to help me. Hope I can solve the problem in the future :)
If you solve the problem yourself, tell us to help others
Try another version
(Save the version you have)
Or because you do not have the rdr2_asi_loader mod
Search the game files. Do you have a file called version.dll??
I suggest you try here first
Then try a different version of Scripthook
Unless you are sure that you are using the correct version for your version of the game
I'll try to use another scripthook version as you said and let you know if it worked.
I'll be attentive for any solution you or anyone else may have too. Tysm

I also tried changing the weather values as you stated but it didn't work for me. Maybe I did something wrong tho :/
Or change visualsettings.dat
It will conflict with my mod
Notepad++ will really help, you can open every file you want to change and do it all at once with Ctrl+F, then select the replace tab. As I said above
(I think)
That is, I am not sure
Because I am a regular user
But I remember a problem I encountered
When modifying weather files
And modify the visualsettings.dat file
This probably wouldn't be a problem for the Moon's size
But I think it created a problem when using
Remove fog
I like to say something
(I think) it helps
Because I use the translator and I may not be good at fixing problems
It seems I modified other files from another folder last time and that's why it didn't work.
Good folder and files were the ones you mentioned :)
Hope this helps people in the future who would like to install the mod.
If you want, I can tell you how to modify the files you have to make the moon bigger
But it will take some time from you
Because you have to adjust every weather you have
It will just take some time from you
I am also an ordinary user, not a professional
If you change your mind
Or if anyone wants to edit the file
Try with one file first
Example
Open
w_sunny.xml
Look for
<sky_moon_disc_size>
You will find that it is 2.0000
Change all those numbers to 10.0000
Or copy this to make it easier for you
<sky_moon_disc_size> 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000 10.0000</sky_moon_disc_size>
in vestiga, no change to origina size.
also do i place the the replace file in lml area?, or just a one of the folders in the replace file?
thx
Red Dead Redemption 2\lml\replace\update_1\common\data\timecycle
Or update without _1
You will find files ending in Xml
Try with one file to see if the method works or not
Remember that <sky_moon_disc_size>
It is in every file
Two texts you have to change from 2.0000 to 10.0000
Don't forget to change the weather on the trainer
To the weather that you modified
any way around this?
thx
Try downloading Mod Loader
https://www.rdr2mods.com/downloads/rdr2/tools/76-lennys-mod-loader-rdr/
Activate the mode from there
(Maybe) this will solve the problem
If you know the file path, tell me so I can do it
Weather files are located at
Red Dead Redemption 2\update_1.rpf\common\data\timecycle
Don't forget that my knowledge is limited
I use the translator too
...
I understand you now, you mean the trainer
But the weather files, as I mentioned above, do not have a file named Halloween
You can use openiv
Go to the track
Show me the file if you find it
Because I didn't find it
But only in one weather like (sunny)
note
I don't know if I can do that or not
I will send it to you privately
Simply open the mod file
Look for
w_sunny
Open the file
Delete what is inside it and replace with the edit that I will send you
As for the sun
I don't think it would be nice
Because the sun's brightness is strong
There is no replacement just move the file inside the game folder
Unless you are using another mod that uses the same files
