I will try this weekend edit... I found it. Open the weather files as a text document (e.g., (w_clouds.xml \ w_rain.xml) Search and increase the value of <fog_start> You'll find the number is 5000.0000. The higher the number, the further away the fog is. I don't know what the largest number you can increase is. But try adding two zeros or four, for example 50000000.0000 50000000.0000 50000000.0000 50000000.0000 50000000.0000 50000000.0000 50000000.0000 50000000.0000 50000000.0000 50000000.0000 50000000.0000 50000000.0000 50000000.0000 You'll also find two <fog_start>s. I think the first is for daytime and the second is for nighttime. Edit one weather file to see if the value is what you want. Then you can edit the rest of the files :)
Salut ! Merci d'avance !
Are you sure the mod works? Do you have the mod requirements? Did you save the document before exiting? Because I tested it on my brother's device. And indeed, the fog was removed more. I also use the translator. It's hard to understand your language when I use the translator. Try using English. I'll attach a picture for clarification. .. Here I made a modification to w_clouds.xml. As you can see, the fog is almost invisible. >> Here I made a modification to w_clouds.xml. As you can see, the fog is almost invisible.
Hi! Thank you for your help and detailed explanation.I followed your instructions and increased <fog_start> to very high values like 500000000.0000 in all the weather files (including w_clouds.xml, w_rain.xml, w_fog.xml, etc.).However, when I launch the game and use Rampage menu to manually set the weather to fog, I still see distant fog (especially on hills and far objects). Close and medium fog is gone, but far fog remains clearly visible.Could you please test specifically with the "fog" weather preset and confirm if it’s fully removed for you?Maybe there’s another parameter involved (like fog_density, fog_curve, or something in the timecycle)? Thanks again!
My brother isn't here, and it's hard to continue editing. Then, wait for my brother to try it and then reply here. Regarding fog_density, try setting it to zero. If it doesn't work, it's probably because w_fog.xml is already full of fog. Unfortunately, that's as far as I can go. Have a nice, clear day without fog :)
no It just makes the visible fog farther away from the player Edit I read the original files and compared them to the modified ones because the mod is old and I don't remember It seems to remove the bloom as well Although I didn't mention that

I even forgot the specific code to modify the fog because I no longer own the game.
edit...
I found it.
Open the weather files as a text document (e.g., (w_clouds.xml \ w_rain.xml)
Search and increase the value of <fog_start>
You'll find the number is 5000.0000.
The higher the number, the further away the fog is.
I don't know what the largest number you can increase is.
But try adding two zeros or four, for example
50000000.0000 50000000.0000 50000000.0000 50000000.0000 50000000.0000 50000000.0000 50000000.0000 50000000.0000 50000000.0000 50000000.0000 50000000.0000 50000000.0000 50000000.0000
You'll also find two <fog_start>s.

If it doesn't work, it's probably because w_fog.xml is already full of fog.
Unfortunately, that's as far as I can go.

Thanks!!!!
It just makes the visible fog farther away from the player
Edit
I read the original files and compared them to the modified ones because the mod is old and I don't remember
It seems to remove the bloom as well
Although I didn't mention that
1.0.1491.17
It works for me on this version
I have this version of the game
1.0.1491.50
Scripthook
Try this version
1.0.1491.17
Also for clarification
It does not remove the distant fog
But it only removes the fog
Doesn't remove snow
You can also use other mods to change the weather
