Not coats, just a horse model (long legs, toned stomach, etc). Its in the horse' file, but I can't find which code is and how to edit it, that's why I wanted to take yours, but with mine (vanilla) coats and manes. But alright, if Discord is more useful.
The horses are very beautiful, may I ask, what are the differences between this model and the original turks? I'm looking to replace the ones in game with a model that is at least a little less skinny, the dark bays legs look like they're about to snap at any moment :/
My model is based off real Akhal-Tekes. They're quite different compared to the vanilla turkoman model: legs are bigger and stronger, the horse is more muscly but is definitely a lot skinnier in the belly.

These are all beautiful, and I have tried to download them, but all I'm getting is a rar file that cannot be unpacked? There is no folder, just one single file.
You need WinRAR or similar extraction programs to extract the content of the downloaded folder. It's the only way to upload files here on Nexus and also like the majority of sites on the internet

Yup, cause it replaces its textures. It's stated in the description of the file. You could change the name of the .ymt to the dark bay turkoman if you'd like, though, so no issue would show up.
I think this is supposed to be the closest to the now extinct Turkoman, kinda weird they put an extinct breed in this game but it may not have been extinct in 1899, seems weird that if that's true how such an exotic breed would make it's way all the way to the frontier west though. Turkoman my fav breed in game, both race and war horse qualities, tall and lean, not the pony size of some breeds like the arabians/mustangs. I'm glad this default only replaces the gold one, I use the dark bay exclusively so it'd be nice to get something different for the unused gold turko.
Looked it up but the Turkoman horse went extinct in the Early 18th century so would not have existed in 1899 since that was during the 19th century. My only guess why Rockstar included this breed as Turkomans rather than their descendant the Akhal-Tekes is maybe they didn't realise the Turkomans were extinct or at least during that time setting. Kind of hard to say really with them
No you can't add new horses for now. If you continue reading from the highlighted line, you can find out that you can change the .ymt name to replace another horse. If you do this, you can add more Akhal-Tekes to the game.

They all replace the Gold Turkoman, as the description says, so you simply have to spawn/buy it :)
