Can anyone who knows tell me what the buttons are for everything? The prompts don't show up and I can't figure out how to clean my boots, I feel like I've pressed every button.
This mod doesn't work as of 27th of May, 2024 I have tried both version.dll and dinput8.dll and it hasn't worked for me, I don't have any mods installed other than Rampage Trainer... Please note that I am using Epic Games version, I don't think this mod works with epic games only Steam... which is a bummer...
For anyone having issues with the prompts, the culprit in my case was the "dinput8.dll" .asi mod loader that comes with scripthook v2, I'm using RDR 2 Asi Loader - Tools - RDR2Mods.com now which still works fine with a mod list of +50 and shows the prompts in this mod properly.
problem is with that asi loader (version.dll) it practically ruins the game with ped spawning problems, can't interact with beggars, and breaks the mission with Sadie where you reclaim Shane Finley
What I meant by interacting with beggars is you can't donate to them. Also, have you noticed empty trains, trams, stagecoaches, less trains and overall less people around? That's because of version.dll. Also you aren't up to Sadie's mission with Shane Finley so you'll see for that
Although I can still play instruments and do things that the mod promised, the prompts don't show up. I just have to guess and remember which key does what. Anyone know how to fix this? (Using the latest version)
In your old mod, there used to be an option to play instruments in a way either Upbeat or Slow, this one doesn't seem to include that option anymore, correct me if I'm wrong please.
It's not fully compatible. You can use 'Dynamic Scenario' if you change the key to get scenarios prompt (It's also Y in default settings of 'Smoking Complete'). However, for 'Fixed Scenario' you will never get the prompts like 'Sit', 'Lean', etc... If you use ZEN only, it working like charm.
Edit: It's fully compatible with 'Smoking Complete' if you don't use 'dinput8.dll', which comes with Script Hook RDR2 as an ASI loader. That was my mistake. Instead, use 'version.dll' from RDR 2 Asi Loader. Additionally, as I mentioned before, you also need to change the key for scenarios prompts. You can either change the key for 'Smoking Complete' or for ZEN.
*edited because I asked a question, decided to read the code a bit, and answered it immediately. Leaving the comment up in case someone else encounters the same issue and wants a solution.
Had a problem where every time I got camp stew it and the spoon would both despawn the moment arthur tried to put the spoon back on the rail. Went into the sun folder, opened the mech.meta file, and found a scenario related to the camp stew right there at the top. Deleted the lines <Item type thru </Item> surrounding that scenario's code and saved the file. Haven't tested it yet as it will take a few in-game days to let me get the stew again, but I'll update this comment again if it works.
