Any chance we could get one about the same color as the leather used in the Gambler set? I could go for a really dark brown that's compatible with the accessories.
Your new version is much better! The problem is, you repeated the albedo texture for the normal texture and material texture. You can't do that. You need to export those textures individually as well and repackage them.
Your ytd is broken, you need REDM and the RDR2texturetoolkit and you've got to export it as a .dds in OpenIV and edit it with GIMP. Don't forget to bake it and save it as DXT1/generate mipmaps. I can give you links but I'm not going to figure the rest out for you.
I managed to get it working, actually, but the colors look lighter than they should, and the texture was the wrong one That said, might upload the fixed version tonight, but kinda feeling a bit burnt out already EDIT: Images added, uploading the working stuff now
well heck time to figure out that then thanks a lot (no, thats not sarcasm, its actually hella good to know) Edit: f*#@ me, guess i need the 3d model...
Do you want an invite to the modding community server? Theres tutorials there you can follow. You can also get codex for like 1 dollar and import textures without baking etc
By the way, the pictures you uploaded make it seem like you edited the wrong texture. The hat has a bunch of separate textures for feathers so you'll need to make sure you are editing the right ones and naming them correctly.
when you export textures from openiv they come out lighter than they actually are. (look at the dds you exported and now look at the actual texture files inside oiv.. youll see that one is much darker) but i think this only happens if they're albedo files (they have a "AB" in their name)
if thats your case then open the dds using paint.net go to adjustment > level adjustment > change 'Output' from 1.00 to 2.21
youre also missing another file you need to edit and include the "merge+hi.ytd" file for that same hat safest best is if you edit the low resolution you need the high resolution to go with it.
