The mod created a txt file and inside it says "[14/10/2024 20:27:37] Unable to load from data file, please make sure it exists." what's this for? the mod seems to be working just fine.
I thought this mods funtion is when player doing some crime, the wanted interface become 'uknown suspect'. but, actually mod work just simply 'no bounty raise'.
I can confirm that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I was doing a train robbery and when the police arrived it showed "no bounty", but then I had to kill 3 policemen and got a bounty for killing one of them. Also, I experienced a bug that caused the game to freeze while looting a drawer at the last car in the train, but I'm not sure it is related to this mod.
When using this mod and wearing a mask during the Rhodes bank robbery, it causes the mission/game to lock up when the gang meets back up afterwards with no way to resume. I assume because you're SUPPOSED to get a bounty after robbing this bank.

i tried 2 different dinput8 and both script hooks and it doesnt seem to work... idk if it conflicts with finite response and mods like it but i put the mask before going in a city and commit a crime and the law know its me, no matter what lol if the dev doesnt work on the mod anymore i think someone should take this and the no honor loss mod and put them together so nobody can claim ownership and such things since it will be a different mod that contains other mods similar content XD
Are you supposed to get a bounty during the mission where you break micah out of prison? The game tells you to put on your mask during that mission but after finishing it I ended up with an 85$ dollar bounty. The bounty did not show under the wanted level during the mission.
That's totally how it must play out btw, there's nothing you can do. One of the many flaws of this great game. I do think that the game can and should allow missions to be linear or even a on-rails shooter at times, that's okay, but don't make me pay for the massacres I didn't want to do. At least the game pretty much always gives you enough money to pay off your bounty. Except for one mission if I recall correctly.
Weird design choice but as good as the game is Rockstar has to fumble somehow. I just did the train robbery mission with John, Charles, and Sean and I got a bounty again. The wanted level even showed arthur morgan even though I had the mask on. At least this time I got money to pay off that bounty.
Yeah money isn't really a concern if you're thorough enough while looting and stuff. Don't let those few poor design choices make you dislike the game tho! Have fun and all the best, dude!
