Awesome mod, really thankful for your hard work. Playing with the haptic feedback is just a game-changer. Thanks again.

For any newcomers this is what I did to make it work:
    1. Download the ScripthookRDR2 and paste the bin content into the game folder: http://www.dev-c.com/rdr2/scripthookrdr2/
    2. Download DualsenseX (free version from github): https://github.com/Paliverse/DualSenseX
    3. Install and open the DualsenseX as admin, go to controller settings and turn on haptic feedback - usb only and turn off touchpad as mouse.
    4. Test out the game.

Pro Tip: If you want dualsense button prompts
    1. Download LML mod from here: https://www.rdr2mods.com/downloads/rdr2/tools/76-lennys-mod-loader-rdr/
    2. Open the zip and copy all the files from ModLoader folder to game directory and then copy ModManager folder to game directory.
    3. Launch the ModLauncherUI.exe from the ModManager folder as admin and select game directory.
    4. Download PS5 dualsense prompts from here (it's easier if you just click download with lml)  https://www.rdr2mods.com/downloads/rdr2/other/155-playstation-icons-replacement/
    4. Once done, check the mods tabs whether the ps button prompt mod is installed.
    5. Start your game.

(I used admin privleges couple of places to get it to work, it might work without it but for me it needed admin priveleges to work)

Thanks for the instructions, appreciate it.

I got the adaptive triggers to work, but I get no rumble while riding horses etc, so I'm not sure whether I'm doing something wrong.

By 'turn on haptic feedback - usb only' I guess you are referring to the 'Enable audio haptics - USB only' option?
And which controller emulation do you use?

Fixed - I also had to change the default audio device to my headphones that my game was playing on.

      @SteinerbeastNL

Yeah that's the one, I don't remember whether there is feedback on horse riding but even if there is, the adaption wasn't noticeable.
If you don't want dualsense button prompts from LML then choosing xbox would result in xbox prompts in the game and choosing dualsense would result in the same. So your choice.
      @hefallenrat
Yeah you are right, the r* social services stops working.

Hi, im trying to get this to work, I've followed the instructions according to the troubleshoot guide, but no log file has been generated.

This is all with a dualsense controller

I noticed that the UDP dot remained red. So I looked at DSX in detail and allowed port 6969 passthrought. But no change.

Also, I havent seen it in the install instructions but, is this meant to work with the controller wired? should steam controller support for RDR2 be enabled or disabled? ive tried multiple combinations but couldnt get it work.
Basically, while the mod and dsx are active, I either get no controller support at all, or I get xbox promtps and none of the mod's features.

I am on your exact same situation and don´t know what else to do... Installed the mod installing scripthook through vortex, installed the mod dropping the files first and through vortex after and started DSX (paid version), then started the game with Steam input enabled and I get recognized the controller as Xbox but cannot get any log.log file under DSX folder and on DSX I don´t see any sign that is working and off course cannot get any haptic feedback.

Other than the manual installation of Scripthook, everything else is a match.

Cant seem to understand why de log file isnt being generated and without it im stuck in the troubleshoot guide

Trying this with DSX v3. Not working after looking at the known issues and all the fixes here.

Edit: I managed to get DSX to work by itself but not with this mod, so it misses a lot of features

Holy Sh1t!!! I was playing this game on the PS5 the other day with the latest update and everything and the controller never worked like this on PC, 1000% the best gameplay mod of this game.

I've probably played nearly 10+ games now with native active trigger effects and NONE of them come anywhere close to what you've done with your mod. It's exactly how I wish developers would handle tuning them natively, actually making use of their full range and also making a real attempt to simulate a trigger pull+feedback.

    Thanks for the mod!

Hey. First of all, thanks for your work, this mod is awesome.

Is there any chance you can fix this mod to work with DSX v3? For some reason, it doesn't work when you use the beta version. Unknown if it's caused by the app or the mod.

(DSX v3 is a beta version that introduces a lot of new features for Dualsense improving on pretty much everything from DSX v2)

    Thank you very much.

Hey, this is because the beta does not allow for mod integration at the moment, switch back to v2

Do you need the Steam version of RDR2?  Can I have running DSX on Steam and play RDR2 on another platform like epic?

As long as DSX 2.0 is running it doesn't matter if RDR2 is on Rockstar games. Doesn't have to be in Steam.

Hello, just making a quick comment. If you turn on Enable Audio Haptics in the DSX settings. You get some of the horse galloping vibrations back. It's the full rumble the game intended, but it deff works with this mod.
