Any idea how to fix the bug where you cannot see your progression of a challenge like herbalist 9 where you collect every herb? Also when i look up my stats in the progress section of the main menu it does not show specific herbs picked, i imagine tis the same for other challenges where there is a list to collect. Do you have any potential solutions? Otherwise great mod
I am sorry. For me it works well. Delete this mod, enter the game, make a save, exit the game -after this challenges should work. Or (even better) load previous savegame.
Hi -- noob here; just wondering, is there a way to use this in tandem with No More Grindy Challenges? I feel like a casual like me couldn't NOT use either...
Is there a way this could be done to avoid crafting an improved tomahawk in survivalist 8? My game glitched and I have no way to obtain the Improved Tomahawk pamphlet, which means I can't 100% the game. If this is possible I would be so grateful.
Can I get some more detail on how to do that please? I'm in chapter 2 trying to do or skip bandit 6 where I have to steal and sell 3 horses. If I delete the block of code the game crashes what can I do?
Hello. First, thanks for this mod. It certainly looks like it will cut down on the more frustrating parts of the challenges.
I am experiencing a bug, however. In the log, the challenges seem to be activating and progressing correctly (only unlocked hunter II and herb I for now), but the progress bars themselves are listed as "complete" while in progress, and do not show the requirements for completing the challenge (for instance, it says "complete" for herb I instead of "pick 5 yarrow").
I am only using this mod, WhyEm's dlc, and the Maize Sack Fix (along with script hook, lml, and version.dll). Any clue if this mod is causing this or if it is another bug?
Hello. I checked and not confirm such problem. Known that it still shows old text requirements. Maybe you already completed this 1st herbalist challenge and forgot about it? What about other challenges?
I had not completed any challenges before installing this mod, because this (and all other mods and their dependencies) were installed before I started a new game.
All challenges show as "complete" in the log, with the visual progress bar working seemingly correctly (if half the objectives are completed, then half the bar is filled). There is no other text other than "completed". This is the case for every objective category, and I have now unlocked all of them aside from Bandit. It does not show the old text requirements, just "completed".
Mechanically, everything seems to be working. It is could well be due to my specific mod/game situation or my user error. This issue is less annoying than the old challenges, so I'll keep plugging along, and I'll let you know if anything else changes/fixes/breaks.
I use the rockstar launcher version and no mod manager, just manual install into the lml folder if that helps.
Thank you for detailed description of the problem. Maybe conflict with some mod, maybe something else. Try to delete this mod, load game without it, save game, and install this mod again. I hope it will fix your problem.
Commenting to report that I've experienced this bug as well, though I've completed a few challenges before installing this mod. As far as I know, none of the other mods I have affect the challenges, as none have the goals_sp.meta file to conflict with this one. Unfortunately, loading the game with this mod uninstalled, saving then loading with it installed hasn't fixed it for me.
Though I wonder if this has to do with what graphics API the game is running on, I'm running on DX12 currently since some friends like to watch on occasion, but I know that texture mods in general don't do well with DX12. Maybe Vulkan doesn't have this issue with this mod as well?
How you check challenges progress? If you do it by pressing L button, then it's ok because the challenges progress is displayed by a transparent line from left to right over the word 'completed' (somewhat similar to disk space displayed on your PC). You can also check it through ESC-Progress-Challenges, where it displayed more clearly.
so just a qustion is it possible to create a mod where you have to complete on challenge in each categories to finish it.(exemple i rob a store in bandit challenge and you succeed and the bandit challenge are over) thank you

Find the block of code about it and delete or comment out it from Item type to Item
