I followed the guide, and skipped the following mods, game launches shows some loading screen then crashes, and sometimes gives black screen, I installed everything correctly, what could be causing the issue (Steam version) Basic Needs Final Cut Humidity and Temperature Overhaul Final Cut Less Money - Economy Reworked Emotes on Command Scenario On Command No Hitmarkers Silent Vendors Kill Children Locomotive Power Non-Sticky Hats
There seems to be an issue with Banking The Old American Art. Every time I load a save, my money is still at the bank but every time I quit out of RDR2 and then reload a save, the bank shows zeros. I've tried a bunch of mod compatibility testing but I don't think that's it. There's something going on with this mod and save states reloading after restarting the RDR2 .exe. It's losing anything that was stored in the bank.
My "roleplay work around" is before quitting RDR2 for the night, Arthur pulls all his money out of the bank onto his person first. Seems like something he might do before going to bed :D
I just went through and installed everything from scratch a few days ago. I think it's still a pretty good list, although I backed out a few unnecessary/unsupported mods.
So, as much as I love this modlist, the annoyance of getting oneshot and be of no use in gunfights is getting annoying for me. I can literally shoot peds in the head and they just seem to shake it off and fight on, but if I get shot once or twice I die. Any idea what the cause of the ppeds being sponges is?
Little late to the party but I think it's a combination of Anatomical Damage and Health Stamina. I'm going to do some more testing but with PDO and 1899 firearms, I think AD is just too much. I get one shot the moment I enter combat and I'm betting the increased hit box of critical areas (like brain and neck) coupled with increased damage dealt is the culprit. The bullet sponge PEDs thing might be Health Stamina. The mod changes health thresholds and values but it's not really clear to me why. Again, using PDO and I'm not sure which takes precedence but I'm backing Health Stamina out to do some testing.
anyone trying to use silent vendors, it's not on here anymore and if you try the alternative it might f up ur game. I just spent an hour trying to fix it and it messed up asi mods and crashes to desktop. Reverting back to an old save worked for me
I would suggest replacing Play Piano/Guitar and Seats with the mod Immersive Scenarios by MaybelleElizabthColter. This opens up basically all idle and NPC actions and scenarios to the player to perform, including playing instruments, sitting at tables, cleaning guns around camp, leaning on fences and railing, and more.
Additionally, I would suggest the Cowgirls Revisioned (low spawn rate) mod by the same author. This just adds a slightly more feminine presence on the trials outside of the random events of women being kidnapped, imprisoned, or trapped under dead horses. I suggest the Low Spwan Rate option simply as a more reasonably realistic outlook of women on the trails at 5% riders versus the default 50% to 60%.
women just meant to be conquered not encountered. also, I'd avoid any mod that needs version.dll or online content unlocker mainly cuz they're buggy and breaks the game.
I'm actually looking for something kind of the opposite to the "Unlock Special Edition Bonus" mod. Something that DISABLES the bonus from the special edition, since I got it on sale - and to be honest I kind of hate getting free stuff in singleplayer games. It ruins the progression for me. Anyone know of a mod that does this, or perhaps can give tips to me on how to create one myself?
I'm trying to modify the game to play in a specific way, specifically to create a modlist for a friend to use; so I'm trying to make it as perfect as I can.
Has anyone run into an issue getting the special edition unlock mod to work? I''ve been trying for quite a while and the special edition bonuses don't seem to be available
Hi to all. Trying the mod list for a while now. Can definitely suggest a try to you all. Just hoping for more quick update intervals, but hey, can't have anything all the time. A couple of things to consider are:
- Firearms might have some pugs, including missing gun names in shop catalogues. - You die pretty quickly (or I just might need to git gud). When a couple of mounted o'driscolls ambush, 90% of the time I die within 5 seconds. - I am trying with "Jobs" "Stagecoach Robberies" and "Contracts". So far so good didn't have any issues. - Tried AMJM transport. Did not work well with the list.
PS: For anyone starting a new game and stuck at the first hunting mission for not having a knife: Use Rampage trainer and give the knife to yourself.
