This configuration file works only with the last version of the game, with AMD FSR2 support.
Tested Steam version of the game on:
AMD APU A10-7700k
16GB RAM
AMD RX550 2GB
INSTALLATION:
-Go to "Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Settings\"
-Make a backup of your "system.xml"
-Delete all files in the folder.
-Copy downloaded system.xml in there.
-Right click on it, Preferences, unmark Read-only and Apply.
-Change this line at the bottom of the system.xml file with the one in your backup:
<videoCardDescription>AMD Radeon RX550/550 Series</videoCardDescription>
-Set the file as Read-only again.
ONLY FOR RX550 USERS:
-Open AMD Software Adrenalin
-Go to Performance tab
-Go to Settings sub-tab
-Turn ON Speed Boost (This will overclock your graphics card)
OPTIONAL STEP:
-Open Windows configuration
-Go to Games
-Click on Graphics Configuration on the right
-Browse the RDR2.exe
-Click Options
-Select High Performance
