This is a useful tool, but I believe that there is room for improvement!
Not to take anything away from this tool, but Photo Deputy, a similar tool, does the same job, with a big difference. It not only doesn’t maintain the original file names (as this tool does) but also adds the name of the area where it was taken to the converted image files. (such as Aurora_Basin, Cairn_Lake, and so on).
This feature is extremely useful if you have hundreds of images, and need to sort through them.
Maybe something to consider if there is a future update!
I just wanted to express these thoughts with all due respect.
This tool is still very valuable. However, I've personally resorted to just taking a Steam screenshot when I want to take a photo mode picture, especially since I use Ultrawide, so I use an applet that disables all letterboxes (which breaks Photo Mode if you decide to save it to Social Club).
Thank you, I just used this app to convert photos which I made when visiting Mexico from Guarma and it turned out to be a different map!! No joke. I've got proof, I made photos.
Executables need a manual check from the mods at NexusMods. Check their repo source instead if you want, they released a compiled executable there if you want to avoid compiling it.
