Hello, If the white dot reticle is not hidden after installing the mod, please try downloading latest version (1.0.1 at the time of writing this). You need to remove the Reticle folder in lml folder, and instead of that installing what's inside the replace folder. Please let me know if you run into any more issues.
EXCELLENT MOD! I was looking for a reticle mod like this to GTA IV for AGES! ...very useful on RDR2 too, its gave a more challenging experience on shootouts. I try to compensate the lack of reticle in the redeye by using the weapons down sight. Maybe you could do something about to do this more comfortable.
I hope you wont mind a suggestion, but if you were able to find a way to dynamically alter the behaviour of scope components themselves, could it be possible to keep the same attachment on while swapping to no-scope camera behaviour?
Example: while in 1st person we could press the Shoulder Camera key to toggle a COMPONENT_RIFLE_SCOPE02's settings between COMPONENT_RIFLE_SCOPE02 and COMPONENT_SCOPE_NONE settings
If that's achievable it could also lead to multi level scopes, swapping from SCOPE02 and 03, etc.
