Please for more andalusian horses color :) several shades dark bay. Your horses are amazing. I like color your thoroughbreed bay brindle but without brindle and your blood bay thoroghbreed but light hooves pleassse :) If this is no problem :)
Thank you! I'm happy you enjoy them! :) I can certainly do that! What I plan to do is do as unique of replacements for almost every horse in the game that I can first, and then come back around and do tons of alternative options for a bunch of the breeds. I'll certainly keep this in mind as I come back around to do the alt coats on the Andies. :D
i'm so excited to see actual riders come out of the woodworks with all their experience and create beautiful coats! as someone who's also ridden for 10+ years in the past i need to get my butt into gear and learn how to create my own coats too, because these look gorgeous! good job <3
Hey, it's awesome to see another rider around. :D Thank you, I appreciate it and I'm glad you enjoy them! I would definitely recommend giving it a go if it's something you're interested in doing. All you need is Notepad++ and you can start to play around with the coding. :)
yoo just coming back to say the coats you've added since are all gorgeous! i still have made quite literally zero progress in learning how to do all this (no coding knowledge here) and i was wondering if you had a discord or something and would be willing to help? i'm sure it's not that hard but i am super curious and the discord i'm already in to help with coding hasnt been...well much help at all :P here's a screenshot i took of your coats too, thought you might like it :)
Ah, my apologies. It appears I got mixed up and accidentally switched the two! The red roan tobiano will be found in the black overo folder, sorry for the inconvenience.
I've uploaded a corrected version of the APH folder, they have the correct files in the marked folders now. :)
hi!! i ADORE this mod and i was wondering if you knew how to get rid of the way some of these coats are pixelated from the neck-down? it's not a problem for this mod particularly, but something i have with most imported coats, similar to this post from a while back: https://www.reddit.com/r/reddeadredemption/comments/dw0d6j/blurry_horse_textures/
I tried looking into this for you today and sadly I could not find an answer, I'm sorry! It looks like to me that for some reason the textures aren't loading in properly? Or are only loading in the low-res version? Kind of like how if you TP around the map the landscape comes in as low-res first, and then loads the high-res version afterward, except it isn't doing that and it seems it does it no matter what the settings are. I wish I could give a better answer for you!
Hi! These coats are just amazing! I have a question- Can I use the bigger horse mod and the coat mod simultaneously? I want to make the Mustangs bigger and also use your coat mods. If it is possible, a how-to would be appreciated. Thanks again for the mods!!
Thank you! I'm glad you like them! :) Sadly they cannot as they both edit the .ymt files, so whichever one you tried to put in last would override the first one. However, there is a pretty simple fix to this! Though it will require some work.
If you download Notepad++, after you've got it installed right click on the Bigger Horses .ymt file for one of the Mustangs, select more options, select open with Notepad++. It should look something like this:
What you're looking for is what I've highlighted there in yellow, "<scale value="insert number here"/>". Select that line and copy it, right click > select more options > and open up my .ymt file that you would like to edit the size on in Notepad++ as well, and replace the scale value line in my file with the one from the Bigger Horses file. Or you can custom size them this way too if you would like. For reference, the Shire is about 1.14 scale size in the vanilla version of the game.
It is only for story mode! I wouldn’t recommend loading up online with any mod components present in your RDR2 game folder, as you will most likely be banned from RDO. :( I would recommend taking a screenshot of your vanilla RDR2 game folder before installing any mods if you plan on playing RDO alongside playing story with mods— then you know what to remove from your root game folder before booting up multiplayer!
Thanks for the answer, in fact if you put Asi Loader in the RDR 2 directory everything starts normally but does not let you access the online but only the history, removing Asi Loader the online works but the modified horses are not loaded, we should make sure that they are recognized and loaded using only Lenny's Mod Loader but I don't know how to do it and as they are they are not seen or rather the Stream folder in online is not seen. Hello and thanks . Sorry for my English, I'm Italian
No worries! I believe the reason they won't load in online is because the story mode and the online are essentially two different entities. It's the same if you try to load an online horse in the single player; the horse is invisible because the coding doesn't recognize it within the realm of programming for the single player, unless you have something like Asi Loader to convert it. However, the horses are likely both unmodified and still visible because online took all the assets it originally had from the base game. Just an estimated guess! I definitely would advise against loading your online with any mods in your root game folder though, regardless of whether they work or not. ;)

Sure, I can give you some guidance/help! I don't have a coding help server or anything like that but I can just give you my ID via PM? :)

I hope that helped! :)
