ANNOUNCEMENTS As you can see, I don't really publish on this mod anymore. I understand some of you may ask why this mod got lesser updates as I kept giving excuses like "it's not a nice period", "I have to study" etc. While all those excuses were true in a certain way, the real truth is: I got tired of this mod. Seeing new and better coats near old, unrealistic and ugly coats only makes me disgusted. I despise this mod deeply and if it wasn't because of you, I would've already hid it.
So, I officially announce that this mod isn't my top priority anymore: it will not get scheduled updates anymore. I'm not saying I will completely stop updating but I will update it when I find time and will to do it.
Though, this mod will continue to be regularly checked for comments, so you don't have to worry about those. Keep commenting, I will always answer. Last but not least, this will still rimain my main mod, so If I refer to "my main mod" I'm still talking about this one.
Hope you will understand my feelings about this chimera of a mod. If you want to see more of me, I made a lot of definitely cooler mods with definitely prettier horses here I'll also leave my carrd profile if you want to follow my socials too. See you next time, gang!

Hi, question about online play: I know you can't play online with a scripthook installed, but do I have to uninstall every mod (lml, ocu/asi, this, etc.) in order for it to function or can I just remove scripthook and then reinstall it when I want to return to story mode w/ mods? Thanks!
Maybe a dumb question: does this mod work without Scripthook? It seems like the website for that is dead and there's no way to get it safely now from what I can see.
Can the Rage scripthook "ScriptHookRDR2 V2" be used instead of the original one from Blade that you have listed? Never modded before (with anything outside steam workshop at least) so any info here would be a huge help, thank you!!
Hi So this may sound stupid but i couldnt figure this out lmao I tried downloading two coats - sabino shire and bay snowflake appaloosa And it seems to merge them in game on one horse ... How do I split it so my shire will be affected by one coat and my apaloosa by another? think its something about the jpg files maybe sorry for the question - new to mods... :) Thank yo uso much for this mod!! its incredible :)
I'm not sure I know what's going on exactly in your game but you'll have to be more precise on which "Sabino" shire you have downloaded, since there is more than one. Despite this, there should not be any texture overwriting issues since all of the sabino shires and the Bay Snowflake use vanilla textures. Either these two are not the only horses you've downloaded or I simply didn't understand what you mean. Can you explain better/embed a screenshot of what you see in game?

Hello, I have a new question, if I change the size of the horses, will the quality of the coat remain the same? or will the graphics quality reduce? I increased a horse's size with another horse coat mod, and the coat simply became pixelated, as if it was down resolution.
The limit I'm talking about is way beyond the Shire. It should be 4 to 5x bigger. If you upscale anything to this size you will see other results such as bugged mane and tail, for example. So, I highly doubt you upscaled your horses to, basically, giant sizes xD Don't worry, as long as you stay within "normal" size limits, nothing should bug out or lose quality.

1- when a coat can affect another horse, what specifically do you mean? that the affected horse will have a coat with bug? sorry for the translator error

Sorry but I still don't really understand what are you referring to :,) If you mean custom textures, then yes, they can affect other horses as well, all the horses that use the replaced texture. The coats will look "unnatural" but I won't exactly say they would be bugged. Although I don't think I ever nominated custom textures in this conversation.

Hello, I'm using version.dll but I'm thinking about switching to online content unlocker, because I was told that asiloader (version.dll) blocked missions and encounters in story mode, is it true?
does using content unlocker or version.dll have differences for your horse mod?
version.dll has a small impact on some encounters like some beggers and a mission in the endgame, that's about it. I suggest to still use version.dll as OCU doesn't have certain online assets available, therefore, some horses may show without their mane/tail or partially invisible.
But if the game is saved I just use the horse outside the stables with the main saddle, it won't cause any problems, right? Will the horse always be with me or after being saved does it disappear? Sorry for stupid questions like this, I've never used a horse online precisely because of this problem with the stable, but if it's calm outside of it, I think I'll use it.
I thought I had translated it, sorry. In the ymt I look for the mane and tail codes that you put in and I can't find them, I don't know where they are and I'm going crazy without finding them.
It depends for which codes you're searching for. If you're using the basic guide, there are only a couple mane/tail types listed. Look at the "DOCS" section which is dedicated to Q&A in this mod: there is a question that might help you find the codes.
