Unlocks more options in Advanced Settings tailored for potato PCs and offers 2 optional files to disable shadows, fog and reflections.
Unlocked settings are tailored for potato PCs, like Grass LOD lowest value is -1 to completely disable grass.
Screenshots are on 1440x900 borderless, vanilla lowest settings and modded somewhat lowest. There's room for more performance gains with the modded version cause I didn't actually use the lowest settings.
Huge inspiration: RDR2 - Advanced Game Settings (discontinued). Also credits to its creator, Majestic253, cause I've used their strings.gtx2 for the names and the descriptions of the options added.
Changelog for v1.1:
Lowered minimum value for Max Texture Upgrades per Frame.
Updated some descriptions with more info.
How to use:
You need to download Lenny's Mod Loader. Inside the .zip file there's a folder named ModLoader. Open it and extract everything in there in your game's folder (where the .exe is located).
You also need Script Hook RDR2. Inside the .zip file there'e a folder named bin. Open it and extract everything in there in your game's folder (where the .exe is located).
Download my mod. Inside the .zip file there's a POTATO SETTINGS folder. Put this folder inside the lml folder. If you only need the new options then you're done. If you want to use the optional files all you have to do is put the visualsettings.dat file from e.g. NO SHADOWS.zip in the same folder where the systemsettings.ymt is located (the mod's folder).
You can only use one optional file at a time.
