UPDATE 1.1: Wild Horse Overhaul Pack 1 (in Optional files section). I created some custom coats for my personal native breeds to replace the wild horses you can find in the game, as it doesn't make any sense to me to find Arabians and Andalusians roaming around. Stats and names are changed as well. I won't specify or show in many details the new coats, I'd rather have you find them in your game. Have fun and let me know if anything is wrong.
It replaces:
-White Arabian.
-Red Chestnut Arabian.
-Tiger Striped Bay Mustang.
-Perlino Andalusian.
-White Splashed American Paint Horse.
-Few Spotted Appaloosa.
-Warped Brindle Arabian.
DESCRIPTION
In this mod I wanted to create and improve some historical native american horses to the best of my abilities. Here are the details:
-American Paint Horse: Improved some things in the model, new coats.
-Appaloosa: Vanilla model, new coats.
-Choctaw Horse: Custom model and new coats.
-Mustang: Custom model and new coats.
-Nez Perce Horse: Custom model and new coats.
-Nokota: Custom model and new coats.
-Ojibwe Pony: Custom model and new coats.
INSTALLATION
1 - Download and install required mods.
FOR STANDALONE VERSION:
A - Once you have properly installed Lenny's Mod Loader in your main RDR2 directory, where your .exe is (should be something like Program Files/Rockstar Games/Red Dead Redemption 2 in whatever disk you installed the game), create a folder inside "lml" folder and name it "stream", then put my .ymt files inside.
FOR OPTIONAL PACK VERSION:
B - Download and extract ALL files inside your main RDR2 directory, where your .exe is (should be something like Program Files/Rockstar Games/Red Dead Redemption 2 in whatever disk you installed the game).
C - If you're using one of my packs and want to install another and keep the stats, names etc, you need to manually copy and paste the new lines into your rdr2-translator.xml (HERE YOU HAVE DESCRIPTIONS AND NAMES) and pedattributes.ymt (HERE YOU HAVE THE STATS). In the future, I'll merge in mega-packs to fully overhaul the game but for now you have to do it yourself. If you don't do this you'll overwrite and keep one pack's stats and names or the other. Follow bolju's mod if you want to do it. If not, just pick the stats and names you want to give priority, install everything, overwrite and wait for my mega-overhaul packs.
You are now ready to play, enjoy!
(You can change the name of the file to substitute any other horse if you prefer it. You can look at how to name each horse here: RDR2 Pedestrian Database. Type and search a_c_horse. You can also edit the size inside the file looking for <scale value="x"/> x being the number, and changing it to make it bigger or smaller.)
Please, DO NOT edit my files to reupload without permission, and DO NOT upload them to other sites.
I can take on requests, but I WON'T be changing manes or tails of horses I already made to suit everyone's tastes.
