I just tested it myself a minute ago. Author says to put the lml folder into root of rdr2, which just adds a subfolder chain to replace a file. However, doesn't work and instantly CTD the moment I hit enter on the main menu. So I'm going to just go ahead and write it off as "no longer works." Shame, really.
I apologize, I don't know what the hell I'm talking about. Yeah I double checked everything and just incase refreshed the mod loader and went to do a game of fillet. It's working now, so makes me wonder what I did wrong. Might have been when I was trying to test out a couple different euphoria mods to see which one I like better that something hiccupped. My bad.

Use the latest lml version beta 9 and just follow the install instructions.
