No matter what i do it is only creating a single ytd file WTH.
Edit: Using gta v to create a ytd and then using redm to convert to rdr2 compatible ytd works way better and is way easier. Had to make sure the dds were dxt5 not sure if that would have fixed it in texture toolkit but whatever.
Edit: that did fix it in rdr2 texturetoolkit actually lol just had to make sure each texture was in bc3(labeled as dxt5 in openiv) format from nvidia texture tool then it makes a nya file
I've done exactly what you did (change the texture to bc3) and it still doesn't work for me. I've used this tool before and converted loads of textures but I've started using it again and it doesn't create an nya file for me only the one ytd and that just crashes my game. What's going on with this tool?
The tool requires you to have RedM installed and is actually GTA texture toolkit, but should automatically convert the textures for you with the RedM tool.
Hi, thanks for this tool, it's great!! One question, often in the ytd files there are usually two or four textures, when you extract them with Open IV it separates them, is it possible to join them again with this tool in a single ytd file? Thanks greetings.
Pardon my ignorance, I'm very new to all this, but is it possible to use this mod to remove a texture from the game altogether? Specifically the bullet hole texture that appears in hats? I'm not even sure if it's a texture, maybe a decal would be a more appropriate term? Idk, but I'm looking for a way to remove it.
Doesn't work for me. The app doesn't generate the _nya file, and the one it does generate crashes the game. The only method that I know of for creating YTDs that work with RDR is this : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2wUq_QJwPls
