This is absolutely wonderful. I almost bought RDR1 just for zombie mode but remembered all these crazy mods for RDR2.
Question tho - is there a story? or just run around mowing down zombies? Also do areas eventually get cleared out or do zombies just keep spawning? Is looting all the dead zombies worth it? Or waste of time?
guys make sure to stay away from the saint denis barber because ur game will crash but other than that yea it's a good mod and i reccommend u install it it w/ UNII.
TO ANYONE THAT WANTS TO MAKE THIS MOD COMPATIBLE WITH UNDEAD NIGHTMARE 2 MOD LISTEN UP:
this mod will conflict with undead nightmare 2 because it uses a mod file called "ambientpedmodelsets.meta" to fix this just go into your undead towns folder(the normal one not the ambient gang one) and once you put it into lml delete the "ambientpedmodelsets.meta" from undeadtowns and then run your game. It works fine for me the towns are on fire theirs debri everyware and the zombies from the undead 2 mod spawn like normal(but their is a minor bug that makes some of the same accounters in valentine are normal) srry for the bad spelling im writing this in a fast
Have undead nightmare 2 installed and the zombies never spawn with this mod. Arent the supposed to go together!? When i uninstall this mod the spawn again.
"This mod will conflict with other mods that use ambientpedmodelsets.meta only Ambient Gangs will be compatible" Next time you report a issue in a mod try to read its description first
alota folk would assume they together especially when its under your required as reccomended and is on the other mods page as well. so there really is no need to be a rude jerk about it
being rude? The first thing you have to do before downloading a mod is reading its description, is literally the first thing that appears when you open the mod page
I agree that people should read mod descriptions properly, but even besides that point, most people will naturally draw the conclusion that when you add a recommended mod under requirements, they'll be/should be compatible. A "hey this mod can make mine even more immersive!" type of understanding. But this is just sending people back and forth, and a lot of folk don't even fully understand how mods and conflicts work, so it's understandable that some of them will be a bit confused or annoyed by this. If you're going to recommend mods that aren't compatible with your own, it'd probably be better to link them outside of the "Requirements" drop down.
Apologies to necro but, I only came to this page because it was listed as a recommended required mod on UNII, (and I'm aware it is incompatible with Ambient Gangs.) They are right, stop being a stuck up d***head, especially as a mod creator. Don't be an a$$hat to the community especially if they are cordial and grateful for your work. :)
Or maybe stop putting recommended mods in the requirements section? It's misleading because it insinuates that these two mods are compatible (who would dare to think an Undead Nightmare mod and an Undead Towns mod would be compatible, right?) and it's annoying to be sent back and forth when the mods don't even work together. Especially for those who might not fully grasp the nature of how mods work. If you want to recommend a mod that's not compatible with your own, literally just put it anywhere else other than the requirements drop down. I understand we get great mods for free and people shouldn't act entitled to them, but I'll never understand this attitude some people have when things like this receive critique.
If you either Fast travel, Teleport and or get close to Saint Denis "Unknown error FFFFF" occurs persistently. Also If the last save location is Saint Denis the game, it wont load and result in "Unknown Error FFFFF". After Trial and error of removing mods for Undead Nightmare II, For some reason Undead Towns makes the game crash with the above error. Overall this a great mod and everything loads as it should, it just breaks the game in this location.
