Steps to change the Cattle as High Priority spawns:

  • Open the "location".ymt included in the zip and find LOST_CATTLE_1 and LOST_CATTLE_2 (this is the <ModelSet> I added for easy identification, LOST_CATTLE_1 for cows/bulls/oxen and LOST_CATTLE_2 for goats).
  • Change the flag under the item you found, from: <Flags>0x33740B29</Flags> to <Flags>HighPriority</Flags>
  • Do this for every LOST_CATTLE_1 and LOST_CATTLE_2 item you see in every "location".ymt included in the "../scenario" directory that this mod added, it'll still be up to the games engine as they will compete with other peds but the game will consider them Higher Priority spawns than other Peds/Wildlife in the area.

Steps to Increase Cattle Spawns:
  • Open the "location".ymt included in the zip and find an Animal you want to replace (example: ANIMALS_PRONGHORN).
  • Change the <ModelSet> of the ANIMALS_# you intended to replace to either LOST_CATTLE_1 (Cows, Oxen, Bulls) or LOST_CATTLE_2 (Goats).
  • The More ANIMALS_# you change to LOST_CATTLE_1 or LOST_CATTLE_2, the higher chance of the Cattle spawning as you are replacing the previous animals native spawn points.
  • Change the scenario <ScenarioType> (it's just one line above the <ModelSet> you recently changed in the previous step) fitting of the Animal you replace it with, for LOST_CATTLE_1 use existing COW Scenarios and for LOST_CATTLE_2 use existing GOAT Scenarios. Use Rampage Trainer to find the scenarios or just search inside the files included in the mod to compare.
  • As necessary change the flags of the Cattle to High Priority: <Flags>0x33740B29</Flags> to <Flags>HighPriority</Flags>
