The mod seems to work fine as you get in the game but it seems that starting any kind of activity whether it be a gang hideout or a mission, the sound just stops and you have to reset your game. Maybe it has something to do with the mission music or something? Can anyone find a workaround this?
Can confirm, re launched the game and spawned the car with sound effects no problem. Drove to rathskeller fork to play some black jack, after winning profit for the treasure hunter outfit progress I backed out and spawned another car, no sound. I'm using Red Trainer idk if that has anything to do with it. Pls help
I knew it was a matter of time, bravo! Does this restore the SFX in Undead Nightmare? I noticed coach/related noises are axed out in that version of the game.
I haven't even got to replaying Undead Nightmare, so I'm not sure which those are. But if I find specific sfx missing I'll try fixing that, this mod specifically just requests the motor engine sounds
i dont know if you could this but you seem maybe you could. the amadillo theatre doors that are locked actually open if you no clip inside. they open from inside normally like it was cut from the game so i was wondering if you would know how to make them open?
Me too and script hook installed, if you want play with the car with engine sound just replay the mission called Bear one's another burdens skip the cutscene and wait for the car start to drive for reload your save, then you can spawn a car with engine sound, is the only solution to get the car sound until this mod get an update
Well it works for me and others, I'm not sure what the problem could be. If you're using Lenny's trainer, I'd try Silent Virtues, I think its asi loader might be conflicting with ScriptHookRDR but I can't confirm that. Also, the author of Silent Virtues has told me he'll implement the fix to the trainer soon, so it's the better choice overall.
The sound is the same for the truck, after you replay the mission you can spawn the two vehicles with the same engine sound, R* didn't bother to make a specified sound for the truck, little anecdote the vehicles should have been drivable with no mods but R* as deleted that functionality at the original game release, if you get onto statistics and go to travel section you can see tere is a stats for the car

i didn't even use the dinput from scripthook, i used the one from reality redemption's new update.
I think the problem the others are having is using an updated version of dinput8.dll (comes with Scripthook v1.2)
If you use the dinput8.dll that's 406kb in size, instead of the new one that's 472kb or so it will work.
