Hi, no other mods expect luma remaster. I found a calander in game it has 7 days so I assume the mod is working, just psi hypos not working correctly as others have pointed out.
That was before the latest update, though. There was an issue that was preventing it and I fixed it. Try resetting configuration options and deploying again.
Psi hypos are vertical for me as well and I don't have any other mods installed. I also noticed that level 2 hacking still only gives 17 seconds instead of 20.
Edit: Looks like there are quite a few issues showing up. I posted a bug report.
I wish I'd found this mod earlier... Sorry, I'm not really familiar with modding for this game, but I guess it's compatible with this one and this one, right?
PRIC is not chairloader compatible, so dll stuff (in touch up's context the shuttle bay fix) isn't gonna work. Just untick load chairloader in the mod manager
A bug exists that makes items disappear from your inventory (I believe when passing through certain doors?), there are a lot of posts from when the game released complaining about it, but it was never fixed (it just happened to me). Is that something you could look into?
It was exotic material (though based on other posts I found it could be anything), and I'm pretty sure it happened when I passed through the door to the hardware labs, though I don't have the saves required to test that. You can find a lot of posts on reddit and other forums complaining about this same thing. Apparently for most people it happens when entering or leaving the arboretum. It's possible it was partially patched at some point as I know an official bethesda account responded to it, but I know it just happened to me.
Basically all of them are from 2017, so yeah I guess. I haven't seen anything that would relate to this, I imagine it'd be a big deal if it happened in mooncrash (given permadeath and such) so they fixed it for it and carried it over to the basegame. You sure you're not accidentally recycling/dropping them?
I can't imagine how that would have happened, and I can't recycle exotic material. I guess I'll just make sure to save and check my inventory before using doors and hope it was a one off or a mistake.
Thanks for this mod! Please tell me is there any need to use "Detailed Tooltips" mod by RoSoDude while using Touch-Up Mod? And if yes, are they fully compatible? (i could not install Detailed Tooltips using Chairloader) I wanted to play through Prey again and i recall loving the Detailed Tooltips mod, but i also wanted to try out your Touch Up Mod. Thank you for explaining.
Open the english_xml_patch.pak, you downloaded from Detailed Tooltips with 7zip or winrar or whatever
Paste everything except the voices folder into english_xml where you just deleted everything, voices is a leftover and would remove some fixes touchup makes to morgan's/january's lines
Now you should have detailed tooltips as a chairloader mod. so you can install it alongside touchup and they should be compatible. Feel free to ask for help if you get stuck anywhere
I also seem to have the issue where the Psi Hypo item is still standing upright in the inventory, as if the Touch-Up Mod is not working. In the Chairloader mod manager i enabled Touch-Up Mod and did Save Mod List and did Deploy Mods, so i think that part i did okay. If you can please help.
Marco Simmons is on the roof of the little security house near the gloo gun mess, and the wrench description starts with "The Hephaestus "Heffy" Twist...".
Though the wrench tooltip might be old because before i posted here i installed the Detailed Tooltips mod with the old (manual) method by replacing the game file "English_xml_patch.pak" (as its mod maker suggested) , and i have not yet reverted the changes to the method you have written a few hours ago.
I know Natasha Nikova was left in by accident but you should probably keep her somewhere even with Marco unless you can completely replace her on the security roster, otherwise Missing Persons is unobtainable without spawning her using chairloader
It's still her, technically, I think I just changed the model, name and job title. Missing Persons has a margin for error, as do most achievements like it except I and It.
It doesn't count on the roster but yeah it probably doesn't matter I hadn't realized I was still going for the achievement so I assumed you really needed everyone, kudos for the quick response though
Natasha Nikova appears on the security roster but not anywhere in the game, if you select her on the roster her life signs disappear like someone who was unconscious, but since you never saw her, you cannot cross her off the roster. The panic attack thing was just a joke cause I freaked out thinking I wouldn't get the achievement cause I thought I needed literally everyone (which I still got before I noticed),
that can't be right. she's supposed to be literally replaced there. when I was testing that stuff I had a simmons body that was labeled natasha nikova on the roster and in the UI
awesome that the prey mod community has a bit of a glowup right now. Love to see that bugfixes are getting implemented. BTW is there a chance that the kirk remmer bug can be fixed, where he would not appear in the location where you're supposed to find him??
Also i dont think the mod works for me. I have a non english version and used (AC) version of the mod but the psi hypo is upright
Thanks! I believe I actually tackled this, or at least tried to
A fix for the Kirk Remmer sidequest - prevent a randomized greater phantom from being voltaic. The voltaic phantom’s aura electrifies the metal walkways Kirk Remmer’s phantom stands on, killing him offscreen and often preventing players from completing his sidequest

What you wanna do is:
<Mod
modName="detailed_tooltips"
displayName="Detailed Tooltips"
version="1.0"
hasXML="true"
hasLevelXML="false"
author="RoSoDude">
</Mod>
- Go into the Data folder
- Delete everything except the Localization folder
- Go inside it, and then inside english_xml
- Delete everything there
- Open the english_xml_patch.pak, you downloaded from Detailed Tooltips with 7zip or winrar or whatever
- Paste everything except the voices folder into english_xml where you just deleted everything, voices is a leftover and would remove some fixes touchup makes to morgan's/january's lines

Edit: for some reason mods do not work for me. I activate them and deploy them but natasha is still there
