Here's a simple and clear description you can use for your *Portal 2* brightness fix mod on Nexus Mods:

## **Portal 2 Brightness Fix (Autoexec.cfg Mod)**
### **Description:**
This mod fixes the issue of *Portal 2* being too dark, even at full brightness. It automatically adjusts the ambient lighting using an `autoexec.cfg` file, so you don't have to enter console commands manually every time you launch the game.
### **Features:**
✅ Increases ambient light for better visibility

✅ Doesn't affect the game's visuals significantly

### **Installation:**
1. Download the `autoexec.cfg` file.
2. Place it in the following folder:
```
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Portal 2\portal2\cfg
```
3. Start the game—your brightness fix will be applied automatically!
### **Commands Used in This Fix:**
```
mat_ambient_light_b 0.1
mat_ambient_light_g 0.1
mat_ambient_light_r 0.1
```
### **Uninstallation:**
Simply delete the `autoexec.cfg` file from the `cfg` folder.

1. This mode works with portal modes like "Portal stories mel" and "Portal Reloaded" but if those game modes already has this "autoexec.cfg" file you have to edit that with notepad and manually add these three command lines.
YOU CAN NOT REPLACE THE FILE.
2. If you didn't find "cfg" folder in that location, you have to find the config.cfg file. And put this autoexact.cfg file In the same directory.
