Works perfect. Can you make this not-quest-item-version as well? I want to put this in Watcher's inventory so that I don't have to search this item every time. Thank you.
Oh, sorry for the late response. I've figured it out! I've tested these 2 lines in "Linked Inn.GameDataBundle" and yes, it works perfect! I've not met a problem yet. --- "FilterType": "Quest" ▶ "Misc" "IsQuestItem": "true" ▶ "false" --- Thank you svartalfimposter! How essential this mod is.
I only had this mod work once, and it spawns when you land on the beach. But I remade my character and now I can't get it to show up. I'm already past Port Maje so there have been plenty of scenes to trigger the script.
EDIT
Did further testing.
Moved mod to bottom. Nothing. Made new character. Nothing, but then! it appeared on the beach!
Confirmed mod is working. Mod does not work without a new character UNLESS you find a way to add it into your inventory.
I used the "Unity Console for PoE2" Item is called "Linked Inn". Added it to current character and worked.
The script is not triggering on scene changes but the item itself is working correctly. Maybe the script is triggered to only appear when on the beach or maybe I don't fully understand what is defined as scene. For example. Was in port Maje did quests, left to dig site, nothing showed up when dig site map loaded.
You can confirm that you installed it correctly by going to the menu->options->mod manager
If it's not there, you've done something wrong.
If it is there, the item should be in your QUEST items (the crown icon at the bottom). It's really obvious to spot - it's the familiar (but, importantly, not copyright-infringing) blue square icon.
I have confirmed that it is in the mod manager section and checked green. I placed it right under the Community mod which is at the top of the load order. Oddly enough, it's not in the quest items (I've only 2 bounties, a letter from one of the dlc and the key to room in Port Maje) and nowhere to be found in the party stash/companion inventory
Is it possible that I didn't progress far enough into the story (Just got the Defiant back) or is there a specific trigger?
Umm... afaik it should just be added to your stash by the script. The script is "RunOnlyOnce": "false", "SucceedOnlyOnce": "true", I believe this is checked when you change maps, so there's a chance that it might add it when you zone to somewhere else.
I have the same problem. The mod appears in the in-game mod manager, and its green dot is active. I set it at the very bottom of the load order so nothing would overwrite it. But it's not in my quest items, or anywhere else. I'm only in Port Maje testing mod funtionality, but traveling to other nearby maps didn't make it appear.
Is there a way to manually add the inn item to my inventory?
